A Core Ship From The Start-Chapter 1559 - 1050 Non-compliant God
Chapter 1559: Chapter 1050 Non-compliant God
For Naruse Mio, taking a hot bath after a day of hard training is the most comforting thing. The hot water can take away the day’s fatigue and invigorate one’s spirit.
However...
"It’s not a dream."
Wearing a bathrobe, the girl walked out of the bathroom and stared blankly ahead, speechless—outside the huge floor-to-ceiling window before her was a deep blue planet. And this planet was one that Naruse Mio was very familiar with. But she never thought she would see this planet from this angle one day.
"No matter how you look at it, it’s spectacular, isn’t it?"
Just then, another voice sounded, and Naruse Mio turned her head to see Liliath sitting on a chair beside her, also in a bathrobe, holding a teacup and gazing out the window.
"We are currently in space outside of Earth. Although I had guessed that the Tribunal’s capabilities were beyond imagination, even I am at a loss for words at this point."
"But I noticed that you look very calm, Senior Liliath."
"I’ve grown numb."
Hearing Naruse Mio’s remark, Liliath replied with a wry smile.
"No matter how bizarre a thing the teacher takes out now, I won’t be surprised anymore. After all, we’re bathing and drinking tea in space. Do you think there’s any more absurd reality than this?"
"...I suppose you’re right."
Naruse Mio took a deep breath and sat across from Liliath, looking out the window. Even though they were in space, the space station maintained a temperature like a high-class hotel, and even sitting here in just a bathrobe didn’t feel the slightest bit cold.
"Speaking of which, where’s that little girl who’s always by your side?"
"Banriya already went to rest. I really didn’t expect her to be so energetic."
In response to Liliath’s inquiry, Naruse Mio chuckled bitterly. Banriya was naturally lively, and after arriving in space, she became even more excited, hopping with every step, full of exhilaration. Even in the bathhouse, she couldn’t settle down. The result was excessive excitement leading to exhaustion, and she finally obediently went to sleep.
While Liliath and Naruse Mio were chatting, Duanmu Huai stood in the hall, watching the image projected in the void before him.
"How’s the progress?"
"Very smooth, Sir Judge."
Lumiaire replied while typing on the keyboard.
"I’ve completely controlled all communication facilities and signals in this world. I’ll report any findings immediately—but what exactly are we looking for? Just saying it’s a Non-compliant God, but it’s hard to find without photos or pictures."
"Even if you ask me, I don’t know. I’m not familiar with mythologies and such."
Duanmu Huai shrugged. He didn’t even know the Three Pure Ones. He couldn’t even recognize his deities, let alone foreign ones.
"But according to Michael, these deities appearing in the human world bring various disasters. You should first look according to this clue, and prioritize those places with sudden disasters, like volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, tornadoes..."
"Rat-tat-tat-tat-tat...!"
Before Duanmu Huai could finish speaking, a series of hurried footsteps suddenly sounded. Duanmu Huai turned his head to see Murasakifuji Ilina rushing in, out of breath and in pajamas. Seeing Duanmu Huai, she breathed a sigh of relief.
"Lord Duanmu, it’s good you’re here. I just received a report that traces of a Non-compliant God were found—by the way, there’s still phone signal here... whew... whew..."
"Non-compliant God? Where?"
"Italy, Sardin Island! I heard two Non-compliant Gods are battling there, and the entire island is in danger..."
"Lumiaire."
Hearing Murasakifuji Ilina’s report, Duanmu Huai immediately looked at Lumiaire. The latter nodded slightly. The image in the void quickly flashed, soon revealing an island in the sea. From the sky, it was clear that most of the island was covered by thick, swirling black clouds, with lightning crisscrossing through them. Other images showed tsunami-like waves continuously attacking the island’s city. Yes... it was indeed a troublesome situation.
"What about the people on this island?"
"The Church has evacuated most people as soon as possible, claiming it was an earthquake-caused tsunami to the public. Please hurry, Lord Duanmu. If this continues, the island might just sink!"
"Alright, I understand."
Duanmu Huai nodded.
"Lumiaire, lock the location and send me there!"
"Yes."
After giving the order, Duanmu Huai turned and walked forward. As he moved, the metal platform before him suddenly split open. At the same time, the black Power Armor appeared out of nowhere, covering Duanmu Huai. Once again clad in Power Armor, Duanmu Huai walked to the center of the metal platform. With the sound of clinking metal, a large cylinder emerged from below, encasing Duanmu Huai inside.
"Target location locked, launch."
With Lumiaire’s report, in the next moment, the launch capsule where Duanmu Huai was seated shot out from the bottom of the space station like a cannonball, hurtling toward the planet below at lightning speed!
The re-entry capsule, trailing a burst of fire as it pierced the atmosphere, streaked across the sky like a meteor, descending from above and breaking through the thick, lightning-filled black clouds before crashing heavily on the ground like a shell!
"Boom!!!"
Duanmu Huai strode out of the launch capsule, wielding his War Hammer, and looked forward. Not far ahead stood a giant as tall as himself, dressed like a Barbarian, and a young man in a white robe holding a golden sword, both turning their eyes toward him.
"I didn’t expect an uninvited guest in our battlefield."
Looking at Duanmu Huai, the burly man snorted, his gaze fixed on Duanmu Huai as he spoke.
"I am Mecal! God of Storms, God of the Ocean, God of the Sun! Who are you to dare intervene in the battlefield of the gods?"
"Never heard of you."
Duanmu Huai nonchalantly glanced at them, holding his War Hammer. Who cares about Velezlagna, he didn’t know and didn’t need to know.
"I just want to know, is the disaster happening here your doing?"
"That’s right!"
Upon hearing Duanmu Huai’s inquiry, the burly man laughed heartily and nodded.
"The filthy ones who have polluted my belongings will surely face punishment. I will personally sink this island as the fireworks for my return! But before that, there is a battle I must face."
As he spoke, the burly man looked towards the small-robed youth in front of him, who was smiling.
"King Mercato, even if you join forces, I fear nothing, for I am.......
"Alright, enough of this."
Duanmu Huai was tired of their nonsense; he only needed to confirm one thing.
"Evil heretic threatening humanity, there’s no place for you in this world. In the name of the Tribunal, die! Evil God!"
With the words spoken, Duanmu Huai roared furiously and charged forward with his hammer, directing the Thunder Warhammer at the large man in front!
"How dare you, mere humans, insult the gods!"
Upon hearing Duanmu Huai’s words, the large man was furious. He turned around and raised his hands. With his movements, fierce winds howled, and countless bolts of lightning thundered down like arrows from the clouds, directing themselves at Duanmu Huai!
"Pay for your blasphemous sins with your life!"
With the large man’s roar, countless lightning bolts gathered together, forming a wave of electricity that blasted directly at Duanmu Huai, engulfing him completely!
However, in the next instant, the radiant sea of lightning split open in the middle!
"Boom!"
With one hammer strike, Duanmu Huai shattered the lightning in the sky, even the raging storms and dark clouds dissipated as if they encountered an irresistible force. The previously gloomy sky became bright blue and dazzling again, as the sparkling sunlight descended to illuminate the battlefield.
At the same time, Duanmu Huai reached the large man’s front, bringing down his War Hammer!
"Ahhhhhhh!!!"
Facing Duanmu Huai’s descending Thunder Warhammer, the large man yelled, holding his weapon tightly and meeting the strike head-on.
But it was all meaningless.
The Thundering Hammer crushed the large man’s weapon into fragments effortlessly, then continued its momentum, smashing into the large man’s chest, nailing him heavily to the ground.
"No, how could this be? What power is this? Who are you!"
Completely unprepared to withstand even a single blow from his opponent, the large man was utterly shocked, glaring at Duanmu Huai as he questioned loudly.
However, Duanmu Huai had no time for idle talk with this local bumpkin.
Without glancing at the large man, he swung his War Hammer swiftly, grinding the man into bits right down the middle! Instantly, black flames erupted, and within moments, the large man’s body was consumed completely, leaving not a trace behind before a final scream could escape him.
Duanmu Huai turned to the other youth, who was staring intently at him.
"Who are you? That’s god-slaying power... how do you possess it?!"
".........."
Duanmu Huai said nothing, simply staring at the youth and then pointing a finger behind him.
"?"
Before the youth could turn, his shadow sprang forth, and a Black Dagger Assassin leaped like a ghost, driving his black blade straight into the youth’s back!
"Ugh---! How dare you sneak attack, despicable man!"
Hit by the strike, the white-robed youth waved his hand violently, a gust of wind blowing the Black Dagger Assassin away.
Yet soon after, the howling Thunder Warhammer tore through the air, crashing heavily onto the white-robed youth, knocking him to the ground.
"Ugh...!"
The youth fell heavily, half of his body crushed. With limbs twisted, an ordinary person would already be dead. But he gritted his teeth, looking ahead - where Duanmu Huai’s massive black figure loomed like a Demon, enveloping him completely.
"God-slaying power... what are you really...?"
"It’s over."
Glaring at the white-robed youth, Duanmu Huai raised his War Hammer and smashed down forcefully!
"Bang!"
The white-robed youth’s body shuddered violently, then shattered within the black flames. Meanwhile, red orbs resembling those from the Greek Mythological World emerged from his ruined form, rushing into Duanmu Huai’s body.
"Such a nuisance."
Duanmu Huai raised his War Hammer, nothing but a heap of blackened carbon below. Yet Duanmu Huai was unconcerned with this; turning around, he surveyed the scene - full of chaos, drowned buildings, ruins blow apart everywhere...
Is this the Non-compliant Gods? Just appearing brings such calamity to humans...
With this thought, Duanmu Huai let out a cold snort.
Looks like they really need to be obliterated.
