She only sleeps so deeply, so comfortingly, when she’s in Liam’s arms.

Outside the bathroom, Liam couldn’t help but laugh at the thought of the girl jumping out of bed.

He took a deep breath, raised his right hand gently, and knocked on the door, asking, "Maya, is there anything particular you’d like to eat? I’ll order it for you."

Inside the bathroom, Maya replied nonchalantly, "Anything is fine, have it delivered in about an hour. I need to shower and change."

Having slept for so long, Maya wanted to refresh herself, so she wouldn’t always look pale when facing Liam.

"Alright! Take your time, once you’ve rested enough and eaten well, I’ll take you out for some fun."

"Okay!" Maya replied as she was undressing.

However, just as she slid into the bathtub, Liam came in with a mischievous grin.

Seeing the teasing smirk on his lips, Maya quickly splashed water at him and questioned, "Scoundrel Spencer, what are you doing?"

"Maya, you said yesterday you would punish me by not letting me out of bed for three days."

"Pfft..." Maya laughed.

Then she said, "I was just joking with you! You actually took it seriously!"

"Of course! A gentleman’s word is his bond." As Liam spoke, he pounced towards Maya.

As a result, the two started playfully bickering in the bathroom, then continued into the bedroom; eventually, when Maya’s stomach growled with hunger, Liam let her go and ordered a feast, accompanying her for dinner.

These affectionate days lasted for four whole days, until Maya’s legs grew weak, and she had to plead in various ways for Liam to spare her.

Seeing her being so obedient and knowing she gave him such a surprise this time, Liam finally relented, took her out for a spin, and the two flew back to S City.

After getting off the plane, they went home to get some sleep and deal with the jet lag.

In the evening, Asher called to say he was planning a welcome celebration for their honeymoon trip...

Liam initially didn’t want to take Maya out, as they’d been exhausted for days, and he wanted her to rest at home, but Asher mentioned that Christopher had planned a big surprise, much more exciting than his own previous event; only then did Liam gently wake Maya from her slumber and take her to the bar!

When they arrived at the bar, everyone was there: Seven, Ella, all except for Sophia.

Soon after, Maya was pulled into a corner by Seven and Ella to hide, and Seven whispered, "Maya, Christopher is proposing to Sophia tonight. We’ll stand by and watch the show; Sophia doesn’t know Christopher is going to propose to her."

Christopher isn’t usually a romantic person, but ever since he started being with Sophia, he unknowingly changed; he felt he owed her a lot and wanted to make it up to her, to do something that would touch her.

Therefore, he racked his brains and came up with the idea of proposing to her.

Though he wasn’t sure if Sophia would like such a mode, he just wanted to do it for her.

Moments later, Sophia arrived at the bar.

When she entered the bar, it was pitch black and not a single figure could be seen.

Immediately, Sophia was stunned and turned around to leave, thinking she entered the wrong bar, that the gathering was at a new location.

However, just as she was about to leave, Christopher’s voice suddenly rang out in the bar, causing Sophia to stop, turn around, and look at the situation inside.

She heard Christopher say, "Sophia, I love you!"

It was the first time in his life that Christopher said the word love to anyone, even when he was dating Seven, he never uttered it.

Hearing the "I love you" from Christopher left Sophia somewhat astonished; before she could recover from the surprise, the lights in the bar suddenly "pam pam pam" snapped on, and it wasn’t the usual dim light but rather a radiant brightness that made the bar appear like daytime.

Simultaneously, Sophia was shocked to see the bar, which looked completely different than usual, as if she were stepping into a sea of flowers, a momentary illusion.

As the lights came on, Sophia saw that the ground and her surroundings were covered entirely with fragrant roses; the stage for the band was built into a castle made of roses, hanging above it was a photo of herself.

In the photo, she was smiling brightly, and she remembered that Christopher had taken this photo a while ago.

Sophia took a deep breath and saw that the flower paths leading to the stage were entirely made of chocolates.

She remembered she had once given Christopher chocolates and told him that chocolates made her happy.

Immediately afterward, she saw that the round decorations on her right were filled with apples; apart from roses, chocolates, and apples, nothing else could be seen in the entire bar. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖

Instinctively, Sophia’s eyes turned red, and she realized the significance of such a scene.

She knew Christopher was apologizing to her, and also proposing, feeling sorry for throwing an apple at her on Christmas years ago.

Sophia felt like she had arrived in a fairy tale house, a little house full of love.

For Christopher, doing such romantic things wasn’t easy; perhaps it was not exactly about romance.

But he just wanted to bring Sophia so much joy and tranquility, ensuring she happily spent her life by his side.

At this moment, Christopher suddenly appeared on stage, smiling at Sophia and said, "Sophia, I’m not a man who understands romance, and I don’t know if what I’ve done today is childish, but I just want to tell you how deeply sorry I am for my past actions; I assure you I will love you with everything I have from now on."

"I remember you said once that apples would bring you peace and chocolates would make you happy, and I want peace and happiness to accompany you forever, to accompany our love forever."

"Sophia, I love you so much I lose myself; without you, it’s like I’m soulless. I want to marry you and see you first thing every morning when I wake. I like how silly you look when you smile at me, like your simple smile, like all your merits, including your flaws."

"Sophia, will you marry me?"

As Christopher confessed his love to Sophia, he had unknowingly approached her, knelt on one knee before her, holding a diamond ring shaped like a chocolate, unique and solely belonging to Sophia.

Christopher used nine hundred ninety-nine thousand champagne roses, nine hundred ninety-nine thousand chocolates, and nine thousand ninety-nine apples to decorate the proposal scene, he only wished for their love to endure forever, never to tarnish; hoping that every day in the future he loves her as much as he does now, and for her to love him as she did the first time.

Sophia looked at Christopher kneeling before her, surprised by his sudden proposal, she was completely bewildered.
