Mr. CEO's Substitute Bride
Chapter 1155 - 1150: No, the Neighbors Will See Us
After dinner, Evander Lancaster lingered for a while before standing to say goodbye, and Juliana Lancaster quickly asked her daughter to see him off.
Downstairs, with her mother not around, Sophia Hamilton finally had an opportunity to vent, hands tucked in her coat pockets, she complained, "Jerk, who told you to come see my mom!"
Watching Sophia Hamilton’s angry little face, Evander Lancaster’s eyes gleamed with obvious laughter, "An ugly son-in-law has to meet the mother-in-law sooner or later!"
"Shameless! Who’s your mother-in-law!" Sophia Hamilton retorted unceremoniously, her face puffed up with anger.
"Alright, alright, not mother-in-law," seeing Sophia Hamilton’s aggressive demeanor, Evander Lancaster surrendered with good humor, but his next words almost made Sophia Hamilton spit blood, "It’s our mom, is that okay?"
"You!" Sophia Hamilton was so furious she was speechless, her chest inside the coat heaving intensely, glaring at Evander Lancaster without being able to say a word.
"Okay, calling her mom is bound to happen sooner or later, no need to be so mad." Evander Lancaster grabbed Sophia Hamilton’s wrist and pulled her into his arms, laughing.
"Let go, leave, never come back again!" Sophia Hamilton struggled impatiently, but Evander Lancaster led her to his sedan, opened the back door, and directly pushed her inside before following suit.
"Ah... what are you doing, uh..." Sophia Hamilton’s subsequent words were silenced as Evander Lancaster sealed them with a kiss, sitting in the back seat, one hand propping against the seat, the other cupping Sophia Hamilton’s head, trapping her between his chest and the seat.
Although Sophia Hamilton tried her best to struggle, the space in the car was limited, making evasion impossible; her hands pushing against Evander Lancaster’s chest had no effect.
Once the kiss ended, Evander Lancaster continued to hold Sophia Hamilton captive in the seat, his eyes dark as ink, and his deep, magnetic voice distinctly raspy.
"Little firecracker, I missed you."
Sophia Hamilton kept wiping her lips, rubbing them with the back of her hand, unhappily glaring at Evander Lancaster with such grievance she seemed about to cry.
"You’re always bullying me," though it was an accusation, combined with her aggrieved expression, it seemed more like she was whining.
"Am not," Evander Lancaster sighed helplessly, his large hand gripped her waist, lifting her to sit on his lap, "Let go of me!" Sophia Hamilton protested and struggled unhappily. Evander Lancaster reached out to brush aside her bangs, gritting his teeth as he said overbearingly, "Not letting go, little firecracker, can’t be too nice to you; should just pin you down until you’re too exhausted to be angry, see if you still have the energy to throw a tantrum!"
"You wouldn’t dare!" Sophia Hamilton retorted defiantly, Evander Lancaster raised his handsome brows, his lips curling with a wicked smile, asking leisurely, "Why not try it, hmm?"
Having said that, he made a move to pin Sophia Hamilton down in the back seat, and she yelped in surprise, "No way, neighbors will see!"
Evander Lancaster...
Smugly raised an eyebrow, cuddling Sophia Hamilton as he leaned back against the seat, "How about going home with me? No one else there, alright?"
Sophia Hamilton...
Suddenly realized, she was supposed to be arguing with him, yet the conversation had somehow turned into discussing where "to do it".
Looking at those eyes filled with amusement, she reacted and spat, "Pah! Shameless! Saying to go home with you!"
Though it was just a verb, when she spat, she sprayed Evander Lancaster’s face with saliva.
Evander Lancaster raised a hand to wipe his handsome face, "Little firecracker, if you want me to drink your spit just say so."
And with that, his handsome face lowered again.
