“Are you planning to leave?” the sectmaster asked.

There was a long pause before Wen Xue replied, “Master, I might be cultivating from scratch, but I retain my memories. I am not a child. I was indignant when you first took me in as your disciple, and I thought of many ways to get back at you. But I soon realized that you are doing this with my welfare at heart.

“You reminded me of my old master back when I was young. My old master was not powerful, but she was a good person, just like you. But she was killed by a villain, and that was what led me down the demonic path. You reminded me of those old times.

“I earnestly enjoyed my time with you, and I’ll never forget it. No matter how strong I become, you’ll always be my master. This is a token of my appreciation. Please accept it.”

Wen Xue kneeled to the sectmaster and presented a Cosmos Sack to her.

However, the sectmaster didn’t take the Cosmos Sack. Instead, she asked, “Wen Xue, do you mean what you said?”
