Chapter 475: The Tree Of Genesis

[The West Node.]

In the rugged, mountainous terrain of the West, the final team pushed themselves to the absolute limit.

"Come on guys! Full power!" Jessica yelled, her muscles screaming in protest as she relentlessly forced her energy into the towering pillars.

"Yes!!"

Nina, Shadow, and Alexandra yelled in unison, their faces pale and covered in sweat, placing all their remaining energies into the ancient stone construct.

BOOOOM!

The statue outside the western city trembled violently, as a final, blinding pillar of golden light shot out from it, heading with breakneck speed towards the center region to complete the global circuit.

The moment the connection was established, the toll was exacted. Alexandra collapsed heavily on the rocky ground, her chest heaving as she breathed heavily. "I am so exhausted." She said, her face paled to a sickly white, completely drained of Primordial energy.

Nina staggered back, wiping a thin trail of blood off her lips. "Yes, this consumes more than just energy, we also used our vitality. But everything is good now, we succeeded." She said, her voice weak but triumphant, turning her exhausted gaze to the horizon as the massive statue slowly vanished into ethereal dust, its ancient purpose finally fulfilled.

As the sky lit up with intersecting golden streams of pure divine power, she smiled.

"Our God has descended."

[Ellen.]

A silver light flared violently in the center of the desolate wasteland, momentarily blinding everyone present. As the spatial distortion faded, Marriott and Esther reappeared before the stunned group, the daughter and father dropping to the cracked earth, entirely disoriented by their sudden, miraculous escape from the boiling seas.

"Dad!!"

The two moved their gaze from the triplets—who were still recovering from the mother’s teleportation aegis—to the sound, seeing Ethan and Patrick running frantically towards them across the scorched, uneven terrain.

"Huh? What are you two doing here?! And where is here?!" Marriott asked in surprised. His eyes darted around, trying to find a single recognizable landmark in the endless expanse of pulverized stone and glass.

"Dad, this is X city." Ethan said, his voice trembling as he slid to a halt beside them, pulling his father and sister into a desperate embrace.

"What?! How did it turn into a wilderness?!!" Marriott asked in shock, not even seeing a single sign this was once a city. The towering skyscrapers, the bustling streets, the neon signs—everything had been erased from existence, leaving behind a cratered basin that looked like the surface of a dead moon.

"Wait! What about the people?!" Esther asked in surprised, her heart plummeting at the thought of millions of casualties.

"This goddess here fought the monsters, and due to the battle, the whole city got wiped out. The people are save, they are now heading to M City, which is the closest." Ethan answered, gesturing to Jinx.

The Elder Sister stood a few paces away, her black dragon scales slowly retracting into her pale skin. She didn’t look the least bit apologetic about casually erasing a metropolis; to the King’s subordinates, the terrain was always an acceptable sacrifice as long as the primary objective—protecting the innocent—was achieved.

Marriott sighed, rubbing his temples as the sheer, incomprehensible scale of god-level conflicts weighed down on his mortal mind. "The Ghosts are just evil." He said, directing his blame at the dark syndicate that had brought the monsters to their doorstep in the first place.

"The Ghost are all dead, we destroyed their headquarters." Regina said, her words stunning the family of four. She wiped a speck of dust from her blade, speaking of the annihilation of the world’s most feared terrorist organization as casually as one might mention taking out the trash.

"Yeah, your main problem shouldn’t be the Ghosts, but the realm ruler who will reach here any moment from now." Precious added, her gaze serious. She stepped forward, her eyes locked onto the turbulent, unnatural swirling of the clouds above them. The ambient energy in the air was growing suffocatingly heavy once again. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚

BOOOOM!!!

The sky in the distance cracked opened with a deafening screech of tearing reality, and Togas, with Blood Moon Goddess moved out. He hovered high above the ruined landscape, his primordial aura pressing down on the wasteland, seeking to crush the defiant intruders who had slipped through his fingers.

"No one can hide in a realm ruler’s realm! Not even you guys!" Togas said with a smile, confident that his absolute authority over the dimension’s spatial laws had them entirely cornered.

But down below, kneeling before the glowing roots of the massive, ethereal tree, the true architect of his downfall finally completed her work.

"It won’t be your realm in some moments." Ellen said, getting to her feet. Her eyes glowed with brilliant, unyielding golden light as the massive planetary array fully synchronized.

WHOOSH!!

WHOOSH!!

WHOOSH!!

WHOOSH!!

Everyone raised their heads to the sky, watching the four golden lights flying from four different regions of the globe. From the North, South, East, and West, the concentrated essence of the dimensional statues tore across the horizon like shooting stars, and smashed heavily on the golden Yggdrasil.

BOOOOM!!!

The impact didn’t destroy the tree; it fueled it. The Yggdrasil absorbed the four elemental nodes, expanding rapidly until its glowing branches seemed to hold up the very heavens. A pillar of blinding golden light shot out from the ancient tree, and smashed into the sky, destroying the space. The conceptual cage Togas held over the realm shattered like fragile glass, completely overriding his laws with a higher, supreme authority.

As the golden light bathed the ruined land in a warm, majestic glow, a profound sense of absolute safety washed over the exhausted group.

"You all did well." A familiar voice reverberated all over the realm, creating smiles on their faces.

"The King had arrived." Marriott said, dropping to his knees.

"Hahaha! My dad is here now!! You are done for!!!" Treasure yelled, pointing a finger at Togas.

"You are dead!! You can’t escape!!" She added.

"....?!"

Togas was speechless, staring at the sky with a slight frown.
