He looked at Fu Young with an expression that clearly said you are the best.

Fu Young felt his heart heat up as he listened to the praise. His blood seemed to boil, but then he snorted lightly. He was not going to be fooled by his master’s sweet words.

"In the end... you are just lazy, aren’t you?"

"Uh..." Xiao Shou’s endless stream of words suddenly got stuck.

So, he just laughed awkwardly.

He then quickly stepped closer while wrapping an arm around Fu Young’s shoulders just like when he was younger, and said in a coaxing tone: "My dear disciple, have some pity on your master, who comes from a humble background and cannot handle big scenes. Leave something as troublesome as being a sect master to you. I will just be an elder. Isn’t there an old saying, when there is work to be done, the disciple should take on the burden?"

"’When there is work to be done, the disciple should take on the burden?’" Fu Young asked with a smile.

Xiao Shou quickly nodded, afraid Fu Young might go back on his word.

Fu Young smiled smugly. "Alright then. Master, you can be the sect master in name only. From now on, I will handle all the affairs of the sect. That is what it truly means for the disciple to take on the burden. This disciple, Fu Young, will respectfully follow the Sect Master’s teachings and will surely bring our Eternal Prosperity Sect to greatness." 𝒇𝒓𝒆𝒆𝙬𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝒎

After speaking, he even performed a proper junior’s salute.

Xiao Shou was left dumbfounded, yet unable to refute him.

Annoyed and flustered, he reached out and ruffled Fu Young’s black hair. "You brat, now that you’ve grown up, you dare to bully your master, is that it?"

"This disciple would not dare."

The image from his dream suddenly surfaced in Fu Young’s mind where his master lying softly beneath him and letting out quiet moans.

Realizing he might embarrass himself, he hurriedly avoided Xiao Shou’s touch. To cover it up, he bent down slightly and said in a serious tone, "Please give your instructions, Sect Master."

"Hmph! Fu Young, listen well. Today we will renovate and expand this cave dwelling and turn it into the inner hall of the Eternal Prosperity Sect." Xiao Shou did not notice anything unusual and thought Fu Young was simply playing along as usual.

He immediately put on a dignified expression, pretending to be a lofty sect master.

After calming the strange reaction in his body, Fu Young thought of the dream and the lingering desire. He no longer wanted to call him Master, so he simply said, "This disciple obeys. Please instruct me, Sect Master."

"Come and take a look at the layout I drew. We will excavate according to this plan."

The little brat was clearly enjoying the game of sect master and disciple.

Fine, then he would play along.

Xiao Shou narrowed his eyes slightly and took out the blueprint he had drawn the previous night and handing it to Fu Young.

After steadying himself, Fu Young stood up and walked over to Xiao Shou.

As they examined the drawing together, he found it quite interesting.

Xiao Shou planned to carve a massive nine meter tall stone gate behind the waterfall of Snowy Cave Mountain, with the words "Eternal Prosperity Sect" engraved above it.

Beyond the gate, they would excavate a vast hall of ten thousand square meters inside the mountain, to serve as the inner hall of the sect.

Around the main hall, eight additional large inner halls would be carved out, designated as a medicinal garden, a spirit beast enclosure, a teaching hall, a refining chamber, a lightning chamber, an arena, a marketplace, and a spirit field hall.

These would be used for growing spiritual herbs, raising spirit beasts, teaching cultivation techniques, refining pills and artifacts, accelerating cultivation, sparring, trading goods, and planting spiritual crops and fruits.

Then, in the central inner hall, stairways were carved in the southeast, southwest, northwest, and northeast directions.

Each stairway was about nine meters high.

Nine meters below, a layer would be carved containing ten thousand stone chambers, each about twenty square meters in size, to serve as residences for outer disciples in the future.

Nine meters below that layer, another level would be carved with one thousand stone chambers, each about one hundred square meters, to serve as cave residences for outer sect disciples.

Continuing in this way, the fourth layer would contain one hundred large cave residences for inner sect disciples.

Within each of these hundred cave residences, several smaller stone chambers would also be created, allowing inner sect disciples to arrange them as they wished.

Below this layer, ten enormous cave residences would be carved out, reserved for future sect elders.

Beneath that would be the current residence of Xiao Shou and the others, adjacent to the ten thousand year spirit spring and the spirit vein.

In the design, another arrangement was made for this level, which would later serve as the cave residence of the Eternal Prosperity Sect Master and the Sect Master’s personal disciple.

Because of the special structure of Snowy Cave Mountain, which could conceal and isolate spiritual energy, Xiao Shou also drew additional spiritual energy transmission channels in the design to ensure that each layer would still share spiritual energy circulation.

Even so, according to the plan, in this six-layer hall the deeper the layer, the denser the spiritual energy, while the upper layers would have thinner spiritual energy.

Only the first layer was an exception, because it had a direct spiritual energy channel connecting it to the sixth layer.

Thus, the sect entrance would be hidden behind the waterfall.

From top to bottom, there would be a total of six layers occupying most of the interior of Snowy Cave Mountain.

If completed, the central and upper-middle portions of the entire mountain would be largely hollowed out.

After reading it all, Fu Young let out a sigh and said, "Master, this is a huge project. According to this blueprint, it would probably take us several years to complete."
