Gu Liancheng is my daddy: Oh, baby is leaving now. Daddy needs to behave, and work hard to take care of baby and mommy! Kisses for daddy! ╭(╯3╰)╮

Gu Liancheng: Wait a minute!

He couldn’t send the message, the chat box crashed instantly, ending their first conversation. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶

Gu Liancheng leaned back, his brows knitted in confusion.

He was still clueless about the motive.

Was it merely all for a prank?

Who could be so bored!

...

As soon as I entered West Shadow, I sensed something was off.

Eleven thought it was because word about her situation with Gu Liancheng in Japan had spread, causing people to look at her peculiarly.

But then she heard people talking about birds of a feather flocking together and realized it wasn’t that simple.

Eleven pondered the situation, but couldn’t figure it out, so she went on her way.

Last night she had agreed to meet with Bai Xiaoxiao at the school.

Some things just have to end.

Two girls strolled past her, heads hovering over their mobiles, chuckling and chatting, and spouting unpleasant words.

She heard one name in their chatter: Bai Xiaoxiao.

Bai Xiaoxiao?

Eleven saw a crowd gathered around the bulletin board up ahead, and out of curiosity, she went to take a look.

From a distance, she saw scandalous photographs stuck on the board with Bai Xiaoxiao as the central figure; like her not too long ago—

Wait, these were far more shaming.

Eleven was caught in just one picture by the media, opening a door alone. Apart from her exposed skin, there wasn’t even a man in sight. The scandal behind the image was purely the public’s speculation.

Xiaoxiao’s leaked photos, however, were manifold and explicit; they had shots of her being intimate with a man she recognized as Manager Zhao in the dimly lit corridors of hotels, and during a banquet, and even from their day in Las Vegas when she was sprawled upon a couch being fondled.

Almost every picture presented a vivid impression of her face, leaving no room for denial.

People were staring because they knew that she and Bai Xiaoxiao were friends, the "birds of the same feather" exactly referred to them.

The girls looking at their phones probably came across posts on some forum.

Eleven stared at those photos on the bulletin board, silently standing on the periphery of the crowd.

She’d known the truth before anyone else, but looking at Bai Xiaoxiao in those photos, she felt like she was staring at a stranger.

Maybe not a stranger, but her understanding of their friendship was perhaps a romantic illusion.

Scenes of them together flashed across her mind and then shattered like a pane of glass.

Suddenly, somebody tugged at her from behind.

Eleven looked at the person in front of her. It was Bai Xiaoxiao. Before Eleven could react, she felt the sting of a slap across her face causing the chatter of the crowd to fall silent.

Everyone turned to look at them.

What’s more exciting than drama between best friends?

"Fang Eleven, I finally see your true colors!" Bai Xiaoxiao screamed. "You hypocrite!"

Eleven’s face turned from the impact of the slap. She moved her mouth, dealing with the tingling sensation, turned back to Xiaoxiao and chuckled, "What did you say?"

She was a hypocrite?

This was probably the funniest thing she’d heard so far.

Bai Xiaoxiao, between the two of us, who is the real hypocrite?
