Hogwarts: Bloodline Legend
Chapter 759 - 210: Fairy Tales and the Pursuers of Fairy Tales_2
"Amazing!"
The young Witch exclaimed in awe.
The Little Wizard finally found someone who appreciated his Dark Arts.
Not everyone can appreciate his magic arts.
"Being able to see how powerful this magic is means you’re pretty amazing too!" Ian happily returned the compliment, and then meticulously began teaching Little Morgan the Dancing Spell.
He already had his own little class, and teaching the Little Wizard came easily to him, plus Little Morgan’s talent far surpassed that of his classmates.
Quickly.
Over an hour later.
Little Morgan could easily control a corpse, although it couldn’t dance as smoothly as the corpse Ian controlled, it could do the moonwalk under Ian’s guidance.
Such results.
Made Little Morgan both excited and filled with a sense of accomplishment, even the initial reluctance towards rotten corpses was gone, she even complained that the corpse she controlled had legs too short, and was about to replace them with legs from other corpses, had Ian not stopped her from digging out other corpse’s eyes to place them all on one face.
"We are controlling corpses, not creating Cthulhu..." Ian looked at the somewhat unsatisfied young Witch. He knew this girl was definitely born to delve into such research.
Truly a bad woman from a young age.
"What is Cthulhu?" Little Morgan, touched upon an area she was ignorant of, showed a curious expression as she looked brightly at Ian.
"Uh, how should I put it, wait for me a moment, let me handle some trouble first." Ian pondered his words as he walked to a tree, raising his foot to stomp on the shadow beneath.
"Ah!"
A scream was heard from the shadow under the tree.
"You stepped on my tail!"
The voice had a mix of panic and pain. There was a twisted shadow under Ian’s foot struggling to escape, but it was firmly pinned down by his foot.
"Hidden and peeking really stealthily. If the sun hadn’t moved several times, you haven’t budged at all, I almost didn’t notice someone was spying on my... Sect Secret Technique."
Ian looked in surprise at the shadow underfoot, he could sense the shadow was just a kind of magic, yet within this magic, he felt the breath of life.
Did the magic come alive?
Or was there some creature hiding in the guise and protection of magic? Facing the unknown, the Little Wizard showed curiosity and squatted down to grab the shadow in the shade of the tree.
A black thing that resembled bubble gum was grabbed into his hand, the shadow had no temperature, yet Ian couldn’t discern which category of magic this belonged to.
The shadow twisted vigorously.
Ian directly turned it into a ball and slammed it on the ground several times.
The life within let out a panicked scream.
"It shouldn’t be like this! You shouldn’t be able to touch me!" The struggling shadow was shocked, after several unsuccessful struggles it let out a cry of disbelief.
"Normally, your magic wrap should indeed allow you to exist between existence and nonexistence, but, you’ve run into a Wizard like me who counters you."
Ian saw a few things clearly; he was right. With the paradox authority, the "Schrodinger’s state" had no effect on him.
"Let go of me! Let me go! I mean no harm! I’m just passing through... Yes! Just passing through!" The shadow pleaded frantically, the current situation was completely unexpected for it. Being held passively by the evil Little Wizard, the task entrusted by the Duke, it wouldn’t dare to reveal anything.
"Sorry, spying on my Secret Technique, what do they call this again? Let me think, yes, they call it you’ve already set yourself on a path to death." After examining for a while, Ian attempted to peel off the shadow in his hand to see what was hiding inside, his commonsense actions provoked cries from the shadow.
"No! You can’t do this! I have powerful forces backing me! Big background! I’m part of something big! You surely don’t want to mess with forces too powerful for you!"
The shadow tried to intimidate the Little Wizard.
What a coincidence.
The Little Wizard fears no intimidation.
He wasn’t even from this era; he could just find a Time Converter and move on. What connection do the powerful forces of this era have with someone from over a thousand years in the future?
Moreover.
"Sorry, you have someone above you, but above me... There’s no one left." Ian wasn’t bragging; as a Legendary Wizard, there really was no one above him anymore.
His hands didn’t stop.
Little Morgan also leaned over at this time.
"What is this?"
She seemed unaware of this entity that had been beside her since childhood. Probably because the other’s disguise was truly well-hidden, even Ian wouldn’t have discovered it if he weren’t meticulous.
"It’s definitely not something proper." Ian replied while continuing to peel the layers off the shadow’s exterior, its shell akin to an onion layer after layer.
"I’m a good guy! A good guy! Protected by the great Gods! An embodiment of stories! A protagonist in fairy tales! Destined to spread love and peace to the world!"
Although the being inside the shadow remained flustered, it continued vehemently refuting Ian’s view of it, a string of self-introductions that left Little Morgan astounded.
