Heaven, Earth, Me
Chapter 1569. Xa Tian’s End.
Xa Tian felt as if his heart were being gouged out.
’Why is this happening?’
He admitted that when he first resonated with Kali, he was surprised but also quite happy and interested. After all, while he was not arrogant, he understood that he was an exceptional cultivator. If someone could become your Soulmate, you either liked them tremendously to the point of forceful imprint, or the other side was a fateful encounter.
’However... is this really necessary?’
Looking at his father’s half body hanging limply as Yasenia gripped his throat, Xa Tian spoke hoarsely. "Stop it! Are you not satisfied yet!?"
The dragon woman wearing a red dress, a woman whose beauty made the sun, stars, and moon pale in comparison, glanced at him with an indifferent expression. "Satisfied?"
The red lips of the seductive woman arched like a demon’s. "Calamity War Knights... go slaughter everything. Only when the Holy Beast Empire is erased from existence will I be satisfied."
GRAAHHH!!!
The monstrous scream of those black knights drummed into his ear, and then Xa Tian saw them scattering in different directions.
Seeing those creatures rush toward the nearby cities, Xa Tian’s heart twisted with guilt and sadness. His gaze when he looked at the fox woman resting in Yasenia’s arms with a calm and faintly smiling expression became dark, and that darkness quickly seeped.
The man who had basically no Heart Demons, a heart with strong will and righteousness... cracked.
BOOM!!
Yasenia, who was about to use her energy to keep Xa Tian’s mangled body alive, suddenly felt a creepy energy burst behind her.
Looking back, her eyebrow arched faintly. "Oh? Heart Demons consumed him? I thought he had a stronger mind... No." Yasenia squinted and chuckled. "You actually gave in to the Heart Demons willingly to gain strength."
"Yasenia Dravory!!!"
A low, gritty scream escaped Xa Tian’s lips as his body burst with incredible energy. Anna and Eve exchanged glances with Yasenia and then released him.
Then the man’s body flashed white and black as it swelled into a gorgeous black-and-white snake over 3 kilometers long. The giant snake that could swallow hills opened its mouth, wanting to devour Yasenia.
Yasenia looked at Xa Tian’s father, and her eyes flashed. With a light movement, the corpse flew and entered Xa Tian’s open mouth, exploding at the back of his throat.
BOOM!
The powerful impact threw the giant snake’s body flying for hundreds of kilometers. Once separated, Yasenia could finally appreciate Xa Tian’s beast form.
"It’s quite exotic."
A snake with black and white patterns, seven curved horns, and seven strange marks on top of the head.
Meanwhile, while Xa Tian had given in to his Heart Demons, he had yet to lose all sanity. His body was out of control, but his strong will was keeping him semi-sane.
So, the mental shock of what Yasenia just did paralyzed the giant snake for a second. Yasenia’s voice reached him. "Was he tasty? I should’ve cooked him. Well, your body will do. I’ve never cooked Beast Meat corrupted by Heart Demons. I wonder if it is edible."
Xa Tian’s final barrier collapsed, and he completely lost his mind.
The scales of the white snake were corrupted, transforming into a deep black as his eyes became bloody. It was not in color, but Xa Tian’s snake eyes were currently shedding blood.
HISSS!!!
A piercing snake hiss carrying indescribable emotions echoed. It was a cry full of madness, rage, futility, and... despair.
Hearing that cry, Yasenia nodded and looked at Kali. "I will kill him now. Do you want to do it yourself?"
Kali shook her head, her green eyes soft. "You killing him is... better."
At first, she had the intent to end this link with her own hands. However, seeing Yasenia trample on him had become much more... exciting. While the shock of the Calamity War Knights had cooled down her body, she still hoped for Yasenia to deal with this problem.
"Alright." Yasenia released Kali for a moment and looked at the charging, maddened snake. "I will finish you off now."
She flew forward, space around her rippling like waves due to her acceleration burst. Before the giant snake enhanced by incredibly powerful Heart Demons could cause any ripple, Yasenia appeared above his head and punched down.
Yasenia’s dainty fist landed on the scales, and then Xa Tian’s giant head caved in, his body blasting down and impacting the earth like a meteor.
It didn’t matter how much strengthening he went through, because his opponent was Yasenia. As a Level 2 Mythical Core Beast, Xa Tian was far too weak.
So, there was no final struggle. Yasenia simply pointed down, and her lips opened lightly. "Goodbye."
Soul energy surged around Yasenia, creating a massive translucent pillar of blue light. Then, she condensed it into a shockwave and pushed her hand forward.
THUD!
It was a short, dry sound. A sound that made people’s hearts skip a beat. Xa Tian’s eyes went blank, and then the giant snake creature that was raising his cracked and bleeding head fell down limply.
The three-kilometer-long snake slumped down slowly, the giant body falling in what seemed like slow motion. "Garest, Dear, take him into the ring. He will be an interesting cooking ingredient."
The corpse of the snake vanished.
What about his bloodline effects? Without a soul, how could one reincarnate? Therefore, Yasenia had basically erased everything she could with a single attack.
Looking at the resentment traces left in the area, Yasenia pondered and took a deep breath. Then, she puffed her cheeks and exhaled. "Puff..."
Celestial Flames consumed everything, spreading out as they used the world as fuel. After she did that, Yasenia returned to Kali’s side and asked softly. "Satisfied?"
Kali nodded, hugging her and snuggling her face into Yasenia’s breasts. She was currently very happy.
Hugging her gentle and soft fox, Yasenia smiled as well. "Alright... The next step was your sect, right?"
Kali looked up and chuckled. "Yeah. Also..." She asked after hesitating a bit. "Can I take Du Yanyu and some others with me? Their talents are really not bad, and they are good children. After hearing them call me Mistress Kali here and there, I’ve become fond of them."
"Sure. We can send them all to Sky Continent so they can develop there for a while. We did the same with Andrea’s disciples."
Kali smiled and nodded. "Let’s go get them!"
So, with celestial flames scorching all traces of Xa Tian so that there were no accidents, the group left.
As they flew away, Andrea approached and asked, looking back. "Those flames... will they go out?"
"I don’t know."
Hearing such an unexpected answer, Andrea made a confused sound. "Huh?"
Yasenia looked at her, her golden slit eyes showing a curious glint. "I’ve never allowed my flames to spread out. After I attacked them, I always retrieved them. So... This is my first time burning part of a forest and then leaving the flames alone."
Evelyn blinked and asked with some trepidation. "Your flames won’t burn down the whole world, right?"
Yasenia tilted her head. "Probably not, right? I mean, they should not be too difficult to snuff out by Transcendent cultivators."
Tatyana’s red eyes sparkled. ’First world-level arson committed by Little Treasure! So cool!"
Sadly for Tatyana, the flames were eventually extinguished with the cooperation of several powerhouses. But by the time they were put out, though, almost 9% of the world’s surface had been burned up by them.
A few hundred thousand kilometers from the Holy Beast Empire, which was being ravaged by the Calamity War Knights, Kali’s sect was currently under siege.
The reason for this sudden attack was that news about the Holy Beast Empire getting into trouble because of Kali got out quickly through emergency channels.
So, to retaliate before Kali regained strength, a few sects gathered their powerhouses and decided to get rid of the [Endless Death Poison Sect].
Du Yanyu, standing within the wildly trembling formation, spoke with a loud, resentful voice. "Didn’t I say already that this has nothing to do with Mistress Kali!? The one causing trouble is a dragon woman!"
She looked toward Leral, and Du Yanyu spoke with a distorted expression. "You were there that day, and you know the truth! How cowardly are you to use this against us when you know exactly what the truth is!?"
Leral’s eyes flashed with a touch of guilt. However, this was the perfect situation to get rid of the archenemy of their own sect. Therefore, she hardened her expression and shook her head. "Du Yanyu, surrender. That way, we can leave you with a whole corpse."
Du Yanyu’s distorted face cracked into a smile. "You won’t have a good death, LERAL! NONE OF YOU WILL!"
A voice descended from the sky. "Well said."
Terrifying pressure descended from the sky, and everyone’s heart thumped with sheer terror. Leral’s face became incredibly pale, and she quickly and unhesitatingly tried to tear a teleportation life-saving treasure.
However, as she waved her hand to summon it, a slender and gorgeous hand with long fingers and seductive nails grabbed her wrist. Looking to the side, her eyes quivered with pure terror.
Yasenia smiled at Leral. "Surrender. I’ll leave at least a whole corpse if you do."
Leral’s eyes dimmed, despair engulfing her body as her body became limp. "...Why?"
The rest of the people who were attacking the sect were honestly confused. Was what Du Yanyu spoke the truth? Where did this gorgeous, red-wearing dragon woman appear from?
Honestly, many of them had wanted to leave. Sadly, Angel had already taken control of the surroundings with her formations, blocking all types of fleeing artifacts. The only way to escape was either to fight or run away.
Sadly, Yasenia’s three hundred maids surrounded the 50-odd Transcendence Realm powerhouses, so escaping was nothing but a pipe dream.
Hearing Leral’s question, Yasenia pondered and suddenly understood. "You are confused why I am siding with Kali when I showed that attitude back then?"
Leral nodded blankly, her resistance null as she knew escape was impossible this time.
"Since you are dying, I’ll satisfy your curiosity." Yasenia looked around and presented herself with an elegant bow that emphasized the deep ravine her dress created. "I am Yasenia Dravory, Kali Dravory’s wife." Straightening, she looked at Leral and sighed. "Back then, I was unaware of the exact details. Don’t worry, though, I’ve already annihilated the Holy Beast Empire."
"W-What!?" The powerhouses present paled further, unable to comprehend.
Yasenia extended her hand, and the war flag she had left planted far away quickly tore through space itself, reappearing in her hand as the gorgeous cloth fluttered. She gently caressed the flag and spoke softly. "You did a great job. Thank you."
After storing the flag away, Draheart manifested in her hand. Her fingers firmly gripped the hilt as the imposing giant sword gleamed with cold light, and Yasenia looked around with a serene gaze. "Now, don’t resist. Resisting will only result in unnecessary suffering."
