Austin rolled his eyes but gave them both a small smile. "Goodnight, you two, and try not to plot against me in my sleep."

They laughed softly as they headed toward their own rooms.

Austin watched them go for a moment before turning back to Nora.

"Come on, my love. Let’s get you and our little pupcake to bed."

Nora nodded, but there was a soft, knowing look in her eyes as they walked together down the quiet hallway.

The moment they stepped into their room and the door clicked shut behind them, Nora gently placed Luna in her cradle.

The baby was already fast asleep and was even breathing peacefully.

Now, Austin started to move toward the bed, still pretending to be a little sulky, but he suddenly felt warm arms wrap around him from behind.

It turned out Nora had pressed herself against his back, hugging him tightly from behind.

Her cheek rested between his shoulder blades, and he could feel the soft warmth of her body through her nightdress.

"Hubby..." she whispered softly as she kissed his cheek with affection.

"You know we were only teasing you today, right? We had so much fun because of you. The picnic, the food, the games... everything was perfect because you planned it perfectly for us, so please don’t be mad at any of us, okay?" Nora pleaded softly, and Austin’s fake sulk melted almost immediately.

He placed his hands over hers where they rested on his chest and replied softly.

"I know, my love. I was just playing along."

"You were?"

"Yeah. Seeing all of you laughing and enjoying yourselves made it worth every missed shot."

Hearing his words, Nora smiled against his back, her hands slowly sliding down his chest to trace his muscles. "Still... you looked so handsome trying so hard earlier today. And then you got all pouty when we teased you. It was still so adorable."

"Adorable? I was going for cool and impressive." Austin turned around in her arms so he could face her.

"You were both, hubby. But most importantly... you were mine, and that’s all that matters. And I loved every second of today." Nora said, looking up at him with shining eyes.

She rose onto her tiptoes and kissed him softly.

The kiss deepened quickly as it was filled with the warmth and gratitude she had been holding onto all day.

Thanks to her amazing husband, she had been pampered like never before.

He had made her feel like the most special woman in the kingdom, and Nora could never thank him enough for that, hence why she couldn’t help but kiss him so deeply right now.

When they finally pulled apart, Nora’s cheeks were flushed as she stared at him.

"Hubby spent three whole days taking care of me. You gave me massages, meals, and you even carried Luna so I could rest... and that’s why right now, I want to thank you properly tonight."

Austin’s breath caught as Nora’s hands moved to the front of his shirt, slowly unbuttoning it.

"My love, what are you....?"

"Let me give you a full body massage, just like you gave me... but I want to make you feel good too." Nora said as her voice turned a little husky.

Her hands moved slowly down Austin’s chest as she unbuttoned his shirt.

Her touch was gentle but full of affection as Austin’s breath caught in his throat.

"My love... you just gave birth a few days ago. You don’t have to do this. I’m already happy just being with you." He said softly as his hands rested on her waist.

But Nora looked up at him.

Her crimson eyes were so bright and full of intent.

She was definitely not going to accept no for an answer.

Tonight was her turn to do something for the best husband in the world, so she was definitely going to see it through.

"I know, hubby. But I want to. You spent three whole days taking care of me, giving me massages, meals, and carrying Luna so I could rest... you made me feel so loved and cherished. Now it’s my turn to take care of my husband." She repeated and pushed his shirt off his shoulders as she let it fall to the floor.

Her palms smoothed over his chest and shoulders as she felt the warmth of his skin.

"Lie down on your stomach, hubby," she instructed softly, and Austin hesitated for a second, then nodded.

He lay down on the bed, resting his head on his folded arms, and Nora climbed onto the bed before straddling his hips.

Her nightdress rose up slightly as she settled over him, and then she started on his shoulders.

Her hands pressed firmly but tenderly into the muscles as she worked out the tension that had built up over the past difficult days.

Feeling this, Austin let out a low groan as her thumbs dug into a particularly tight knot near his neck.

"Does that feel good, hubby?" Nora asked in a really seductive tone, and Austin couldn’t help but mumble into his pillow.

"It feels too good, my love... You’re really good at this."

Hearing this, Nora smiled and continued.

Her fingers glided down his back in slow, sweeping strokes.

Then she used the heels of her palms to press along his spine, working her way outward to his shoulder blades.

"Ohh, so good."

Every movement she made was careful and loving.

It was like she was pouring all her gratitude into each touch she made on his body, and Austin was absolutely loving it.

It turned out his wife had been using him to learn how to do this in return.

Whenever Austin gave her a massage, Nora was always in cloud nine, so she had begun paying close attention to the detail of what he did to her, so she could do it back to him as well.

"You carried so much these past days, hubby. Worrying about me, about Luna, about the territory... even while you were unconscious, I know you were still thinking about us, and that’s why I’m doing this for you." She whispered as she massaged lower, reaching the small of his back.

Austin’s body gradually relaxed under her hands.

Even his breathing slowed and became deeper, because now Nora’s touch had moved to his arms, kneading the muscles from shoulder to wrist, then back up again.

She even took time with his hands, pressing her thumbs into his palms and massaging each finger.

When she reached his lower back and hips, she leaned down and pressed soft kisses along his spine, causing Austin to shiver at the feeling.

"Nora..." he breathed almost as though he was moaning but Nora made a hushing sound.

"Shh. Just relax, my love. This is all for you." She murmured against his skin as she continued what she was doing.
