The tournament was over. After everyone collected their rewards, they began to prepare for their return.

While walking down the road, Li Wei ran into Erica.

"Erica, thanks," Li Wei replied.

She asked curiously, "What does the Book of Truth look like? What’s inside?"

Li Wei gave her a simple description.

Erica nodded, though she only seemed to half-understand.

Anyone who hadn’t encountered the Book of Truth would have trouble understanding Li Wei’s description.

"Erica, let’s go."

A tall man said as he walked over.

Li Wei looked over his shoulder and recognized the man as one of the leading Elders from the Alchemy Tower.

Upon hearing him, Erica quickly said goodbye to Li Wei and ran to her teacher’s side.

She looked like a very obedient student.

Erica’s teacher looked down at Li Wei and smiled. "You must be Li Wei?"

Li Wei nodded. "Yes. Hello, senior."

"No need to be so formal. I am Erica’s teacher, Locks," Locks said, taking off his hat.

Locks was probably over two meters tall; Li Wei had to tilt his head up just to see his face.

He didn’t look very old.

However, for him to be a leading Elder of the Alchemy Tower, his strength must be immense, and his actual age was likely much greater than his appearance suggested.

’I don’t know if it’s just my imagination,’ Li Wei thought.

’But when I look at Locks’s curly, flaxen hair, it seems to be moving, as if it’s alive.’

He sized up Li Wei without restraint.

"Yes, Teacher."

Locks left with Erica.

Li Wei kept a wary eye on Locks as he departed.

He emptied his mind and headed for the Elemental Tower’s base.

When Eiris saw Li Wei return, he smiled and said, "How did it go? Did you gain anything?"

Eiris noticed Li Wei’s expression, and his smile vanished.

He glanced around and asked in a low voice, "What happened?"

Li Wei told Eiris about his encounter with Locks.

"Locks? I’m not sure. I’ve never heard of him. He might be a newly promoted Elder from the Alchemy Tower in recent years," Eiris said.

"Based on your description, he’s probably a Biological Alchemist who has performed some biological alchemy modifications on himself."

"But since his attack failed, you don’t need to worry too much. He won’t dare to make a rash move against you."

"You’re the center of everyone’s attention right now. If anything were to happen to you, Locks wouldn’t be able to get away."

Eiris reassured him.

Li Wei nodded. It wasn’t that he was worried about being attacked from the shadows.

It was just a really unpleasant feeling.

He had thought he might make a new friend by meeting Erica’s teacher.

Instead, he had found an enemy.

Harris glanced at Li Wei and said to the group, "Alright, everyone’s here. Prepare to return to the Elemental Tower."

"Oh, we can finally go back!"

The crowd couldn’t help but cheer.

Staying at the Space Tower was ultimately not as comfortable as being at the Elemental Tower.

Everyone was eager to go home.
