Great Villain: Starting by Humiliating the Son of the Heavenly Fate
Chapter 501: Conditions Accepted
Jiang Chen swept through cities and sects without pause, taking whatever caught his eye—cultivators, resources, entire strongholds. By the time he slowed down, the wealth he'd gathered was staggering.
Along the way, he came across several small cave heavens. After absorbing them into the Immortal Martial Mustard Seed, its growth accelerated dramatically. What had once held thirty layers expanded to sixty, each one a vast stretch of land in its own right.
With that much space, even the giant cities he'd seized along his journey fit comfortably inside.
By now, Jiang Chen was unmatched on Prosperous Stone Immortal Star. Teleportation arrays were no longer obstacles; he used them as freely as he pleased.
With his grasp of the Space Dao, reaching the headquarters of the Purple Crest Immortal Sect took little effort.
But the sect he arrived at was already in disarray.
News of the Compassionate Sword Immortal Palace's destruction had spread, and panic followed. Many cultivators had fled ahead of time, taking everything they could carry. Anything left behind—anything too large or inconvenient—had mostly been smashed or burned beyond use.
Jiang Chen's brows lifted slightly, a cold curve touching his lips.
His divine sense spread without restraint, covering the entire Prosperous Stone Immortal Star. Nothing escaped his perception.
He saw the Purple Crest Immortal Sect's cultivators fleeing in all directions, as well as those still inside, tearing apart buildings and formations in a frantic rush to destroy anything they couldn't take with them.
Once I claim their cave heaven blessed land and seize their headquarters, Jiang Chen thought, I'll deal with every last one of them.
He stepped forward and stopped before the Purple Crest Immortal Sect's protective formation.
Inside the sect, a group of disciples who had chosen to stand their ground—whether to survive or die with it—triggered the formation, sealing the sect off completely.
The protective formation was the Purple Crest Immortal Sect's final line of defense. At full strength, it could hold off attacks from a Void Tribulation realm powerhouse for a short time, and even strike back if needed.
But activating it properly required several Nirvana Cleansing realm cultivators working together.
What remained now was little more than the sect's leftovers—the old, the injured, and those too weak to flee. They simply couldn't draw out the formation's true power.
"Break."
Jiang Chen lifted his right hand and gave a casual tap. The protective formation shattered on the spot, and in the next instant, he appeared above the sect's headquarters.
Despair spread across the faces of the remaining Purple Crest Immortal Sect disciples.
...
Meanwhile, on Lonely Sea Immortal Star, the brown-robed elder laid out everything that had happened on Prosperous Stone Immortal Star, along with the conditions set by Feng Haojin, the deputy leader of the Profound Jade Immortal Alliance.
"That's the situation," he said. "If Lord Shen Xin is willing to go to Prosperous Stone Immortal Star and carry out the task assigned by the Alliance, your senior brother, Zhu Zhongming, will be released unharmed." 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
He paused, his face tight with strain. "The Profound Jade Immortal Alliance is barely holding together. When the nest collapses, no egg survives, Lord Shen Xin."
Shen Xin fell silent for a moment. Then he nodded. "Fine. I'll do it. But before that, I want to see my senior brother."
"I'm afraid that can't be arranged." The brown-robed elder shook his head. "Either of you alone is already difficult to restrain. If you were to meet—"
Shen Xin's brows drew together. "Then how am I supposed to trust you?"
"Life Tablet."
The brown-robed elder produced a jade tablet and held it out. "This belongs to your senior brother. Through it, you can directly sense Zhu Zhongming's condition."
"My senior brother's Life Tablet…" Shen Xin took it at once. The moment his divine sense touched it, he recognized it as Zhu Zhongming's. Feeling the steady pulse of life within, the tightness in his chest eased.
"Your senior brother is worried about you as well," the elder said, watching his reaction. "So we've prepared a Life Tablet for you too. It will be delivered to him."
He continued, "These two tablets are linked. Only the two of you can use them, and you can communicate through them whenever you wish."
The elder paused, then added, "That's as far as we can go. If this still isn't enough, then there's nothing left to discuss. At that point, the deputy leader will have no choice but to personally go to Prosperous Stone Immortal Star to deal with Jiang Chen."
"Good. Make the Life Tablet now." Shen Xin nodded once, having sensed the Alliance's sincerity.
The brown-robed elder let out a quiet breath, relief clear on his face.
He had been worried that the so-called Devil Saber, Shen Xin, would be just as violent and unreasonable as the rumors claimed. It seemed those stories had been exaggerated, as they so often were.
Soon after, the brown-robed elder summoned the artifact refiner who had been prepared in advance. With Shen Xin present, the man used his flesh, blood, origin power, and other materials to carefully forge the Life Tablet.
After the Life Tablet was secured, the brown-robed elder spoke again. "We'll deliver this to Daoist Friend Zhu Zhongming as quickly as possible."
He added, "You can set out for Prosperous Stone Immortal Star now. Before you arrive, you and your senior brother should already be able to make contact."
Time was short. He cupped his hands toward Shen Xin, urging him to move without delay.
"Alright. Find someone to guide me," Shen Xin said with a nod.
Not long after, led by a cultivator, Shen Xin arrived at the heavily guarded interstellar teleportation array on Lonely Sea Immortal Star and began his journey toward Prosperous Stone Immortal Star.
In truth, the two immortal stars weren't that far apart.
With five intermediate space jumps, he would reach his destination.
...
Back on Prosperous Stone Immortal Star, Jiang Chen looked down at the Purple Crest Immortal Sect disciples below, their faces filled with despair. With a casual wave of his hand, he drew them all into the Immortal Martial Mustard Seed.
Then he moved without pause, beginning a ruthless sweep.
His first target was the entrance to the Purple Crest Immortal Sect's cave heaven blessed land.
The cave heaven lay hidden among towering peaks wrapped in layers of cloud and mist.
Jiang Chen used the same approach as before. He shattered the cloud barrier, then unleashed the Immortal Martial Mustard Seed and swallowed the entire blessed land in one go.
In an instant, the space within the Mustard Seed expanded by another third.
Jiang Chen immediately divided the newly claimed territory into thirty more layers.
With that, the Immortal Martial Mustard Seed now held ninety heavens.
The total area inside was not much smaller than the surface of Prosperous Stone Immortal Star itself.
Of course, each layer was relatively low, which gave the space a slightly oppressive feel. That couldn't be helped for now. As the Immortal Martial Mustard Seed continued to grow, the height of the skies within it could be expanded later.
With this much space, it's already enough to hold every city on Prosperous Stone Immortal Star, Jiang Chen thought, the corners of his lips lifting slightly.
But cramming them all in would be pointless. Better to choose the most valuable ones.
With that decision made, he turned and flew toward a massive city not far away.
That city was Purple Crest Immortal City, a super-large metropolis founded by the Purple Crest Immortal Sect.
Starting with that city, Jiang Chen continued his sweep across Prosperous Stone Immortal Star, taking one city after another, along with vast stretches of land rich in Spiritual Qi.
Given the scale of what was happening—and how long it lasted—the three Profound Jade Immortal Alliance cultivators hiding on the arctic solitary island noticed it early on.
But they had no idea what was really going on.
They knew the headquarters of the Compassionate Sword Immortal Palace and the Purple Crest Immortal Sect had vanished, along with several major cities. Naturally, they assumed Jiang Chen had destroyed them outright.
It never crossed the minds of Bao Rui and the others that those places were being swallowed whole.
The idea that Jiang Chen possessed a super-large inner world was simply unthinkable. Creating an inner world wasn't something a Nirvana Cleansing realm cultivator could do, and even most Void Tribulation realm powerhouses lacked the complete mastery of the Space Dao needed to pull it off.
It wasn't really their fault. With their experience, something like a Primordial Chaos–rank treasure—the Cosmic Mustard Seed—was beyond anything they could imagine existing within the Profound Jade Immortal Domain.
"I just received word," Bao Rui said, urgency clear on his face. "The Purple Crest Immortal Sect and Purple Crest Fairy City have both been wiped out by Jiang Chen."
"That demon is far too ruthless," Kou Zhong blurted out, shock and unease written all over him. "A city with countless lives, destroyed without a second thought."
"I heard someone went to check the sect's headquarters," Xu Ziling added quietly. "All that's left is an endless abyss."
He clenched his fist. "Even those who believe in cutting weeds by the root don't go this far. He didn't just kill people—he ruined the land itself."
