Capital Border

I continued to watch the scene outside from the car. The two Magic Lords had yet to leave the place. It appeared that they were not convinced yet.

They were trying to find my whereabouts again. I shook my head.

A quick gleam appeared in my eyes.

I didn’t expect the blue-eyed wizard to chase me down at the last moment. I underestimated them. They are keeping an eye on the whole territory here.

Even if their own members were doing something, they would check them.

Another thing, I suspected that the shield provided by the system must have been sensed by him.

The dust and smoke covered the place. Seeing that, I paused my footsteps. A sand hurricane was coming towards me.

Seeing that, I decided to cast a magic spell. When the hurricane came towards me:

The next second, powerful magic was released from my body. In a flash, the attack released from my body.

The repulsive force spread across the place.

In the blink of an eye, the force came in contact with the hurricane. The next second, an explosion occurred.

The powerful gravitational force tore apart the hurricane. The hurricane started to crumble from above.

But the power had overturned the place. The barren land revealed uneven terrain on the ground.

I casually observed the place. The shock force didn’t hurt me; my body withstood it. But the scenes of the revealed land shocked me.

I saw many skeletons of humans. They were buried under the sand. It was because of the attack that they were revealed now.

I appeared in front of the pile of skeletons and checked their bones. I used the system Probe function.

The system voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that, I was shocked. Then I noticed the differences. Some of them had broken bones and cracks on the head.

I finally saw the border. But the scene totally stunned me. In front of me was nothing but the endless stretch of black land.

I wanted to know whether anyone was going to come or not. What if someone appeared right after I entered the land? I could come across danger.

I saw several figures appear on the mirror. Seeing that, I was stunned. I was right, then. They had come here. My gaze fell on a particular person.

The person was none other than the blue-eyed wizard. Along with him were other wizards from Sand Base as well.

Seeing that, my mouth curved into an arc. I recalled the skeletons in my mind. It must be the work of the wizards at the Sand Base.

Apart from them, I didn’t see another force working here. The Sand Base must have a backer. I should be wary of them as well.
