Chapter 590 - 171: The Stare of Madness
Su Changxing figured that the relationship between Elba and Emperor Regla was quite profound, otherwise she wouldn’t be so angry.
Offspring or apprentice?
The relationships among these wizards were rather strange. When the Wizard King’s offspring died earlier, those wizards in Donglin City didn’t seem to react much.
"So you’re also the Wizard King’s offspring."
"Also?"
"Among those White Wizards I killed earlier, there seemed to be one who was the Wizard King’s offspring."
"You killed him?" Elba’s eyes showed surprise.
Su Changxing looked up at her and chuckled lightly, "Yes, he should be dead. But with you wizards and your many methods, who knows, maybe he’s still alive."
Elba furrowed her brows tightly and said grimly, "Now this is troublesome. He’s a bloodline offspring, possessing the Wizard King’s inherited power. That Wizard King won’t let you off. It’s inherently difficult for wizards to inherit the power of the bloodline."
"What does it have to do with you?"
Su Changxing thought Elba’s focus was a bit odd and smiled as he said, "Even if I get killed, so what? So many people have died, so what’s another one of me?"
Hearing this, Elba sighed again and pointed towards Donglin City, "In that city, they are building a door, a portal to that world filled with black mist."
"Once that door is completed, your world will be further eroded by the black mist, plunging into a path of no return."
As expected.
What Elba said was pretty much in line with what he had foreseen. These wizards had come for war, intending to use Donglin City as a springboard to expand the war further.
Su Changxing’s expression remained unchanged, "Isn’t this considered betrayal? Telling me such important information?"
Elba merely laughed and said, "War cannot end so quickly."
Su Changxing sarcastically said, "Just a moment ago, you were opposing the war."
"Things are different now... this might be your last chance."
Elba retreated swiftly sitting on the black crow, waved her hand with a playful smile, preparing to leave.
Su Changxing raised his gun, pursed his lips, and in an extremely calm tone said, "Did I say you could leave?"
The low voice carried a hint of raspiness, swirling in the mist.
"You..."
Before Elba could speak more, she saw countless silver lines shooting at her through the white mist, silently and like a moving painting.
A golden light, like that of dusk, bound her and the black crow in the sky.
In an instant, more than twenty bullets pierced through her body, shattering her into pieces, dropping a multitude of black crow corpses.
Terror spread in her heart.
This sudden burst of power, like a storm, made her feel the taste of death.
The golden light abruptly disappeared, and Elba’s body once again coalesced in front of Su Changxing from countless black crows.
However, as too many of the red-eyed black crows had died at one time, the remaining crows couldn’t form a complete body.
The black crows could only form her upper body, with gaps also on the head.
It seemed her clone wasn’t a match for Karen’s clone, so she probably wouldn’t be able to contend with Karen.
"You madman!"
Elba cursed angrily, thinking she had convinced Su Changxing, not expecting him to suddenly take action.
The corpses of black crows on the ground writhed quickly, with larger and larger black crows flying out, pouncing towards Su Changxing.
The newly coalesced black crows were no longer living beings, merely witchcraft, as they attacked Su Changxing from all directions.
"You’ve already lost, do you still want to fight?"
Su Changxing’s eyes shone with a dark luster, the golden light once again refracting in the surrounding space, imprisoning the black crows flying towards him.
Mysteriousness greatly increased again over the recent days, further strengthening him, and the domain rules he manifested were becoming more complete.
He strolled leisurely in the golden light, step by step towards Elba, with a cold face and dark, deep eyes, devoid of light.
"Some things are bone-deep, that kind of pride, arrogance, and constant indifference, is disgusting!"
Su Changxing reached her, grabbed her incomplete body with one hand and smashed it to the ground, rough stone cracking into a large pit, scarlet blood spurted from Elba’s mouth, splattering onto her pale skin.
The immense force again shattered her body, leaving only half a face, as the rest turned into black crows scattering away, bringing a breeze.
"You can’t kill me." Elba coldly said, not panicking at the situation, knowing this was just a fake body, dead was dead.
"Your actions will lead this world to destruction, you’ll regret it, Su Changxing!" 𝐟𝕣𝗲𝕖𝕨𝗲𝐛𝗻𝗼𝐯𝗲𝚕.𝗰𝚘𝐦
Su Changxing drew out the handgun wrapped in gray cloth, aimed at Elba’s head, and smiled faintly, "I never regret, every decision is well-thought-out, so if I fail, I just fail."
"There’s a saying, man proposes, God disposes, you should understand, I’m not a bloodthirsty person, nor do I enjoy killing."
Bam~
Pulling the trigger, a semi-transparent, shimmering bullet entered Elba’s forehead, yet left no wound.
Correspondingly, Elba’s gaze became unfocused.
This was a Netherworld Bomb, which, while not causing physical damage, could tear the spirit.
"What are you trying to do?"
She was puzzled, not understanding Su Changxing’s intentions, as if he wanted to kill her, he could have acted directly, without such hassle.
Her spirit is strong, and this level of mental tearing would only leave her dazed in the short term, not fundamentally harm her.
Furthermore, this was just a clone.
"What do I want to do? Just watch."
In Su Changxing’s left hand appeared an eye, jet-black like a gemstone, connected with it spiritually, and triggered its power.
His eyes also changed, became deep, became pitch-black, like a pool of dead water, impossible to see through, inciting a sinking feeling...and sinking...
[Butcher’s Eye: The eye gouged from "Bloody hand Butcher" Klein when he fell into madness, bearing the deepest desires and chasms, capable of plummeting one into the Abyss.]
Su Changxing didn’t know if this action was correct, but a drowning person would grasp any straw, and someone nearing the Abyss would do anything to climb up.
The power contained in the Butcher’s Eye made him unease, potent enough to swallow his entire spirit, along with all his soul.
Of course, only such powerful force was worth controlling.
Crimson blood trickled down, yet his eyes remained pitch black, showing no expression, as if ink had stained them.
Countless honeycomb-like holes appeared in his spirit, through which other things fell, and then his entire mental world upheaved.
A normal person’s spirit should be calm, with small waves, but nothing like this cataclysm.
This was the omen of madness!
In a daze, he saw a man with a cleaver and apron standing before him, the gray apron stained with spots of fresh blood, with a broken intestine wrapped around the sunken part of the blade.
"What are you doing! Don’t mess around..."
Elba, as if seeing something terrifying, screamed in fear, but her pupils fully lost focus, devoid of their original luster.
The burning white radiance extinguished with it.
