KRAAAAABOOOOM!!!

The blue-black flames surrounding him instantly transformed. The fire condensed into countless gigantic serpents made entirely from corrosive flame. Each serpent radiated terrifying Law fluctuations while burning holes directly through the void itself.

"Law Skill…"

The old man's cold voice echoed throughout the darkness.

"Netherflame Serpent Realm."

HISSSSSSSS!!!

Thousands of flaming serpents instantly surged toward Michael from every direction.

At nearly the same moment, the woman in azure robes raised one hand. The ocean around her suddenly froze still for a fraction of a second. Then, KRAAAABOOOOOOM!!! π’‡π’“π’†π’†π™¬π’†π’ƒπ“·π’π“Ώπ™šπ™‘.π’„π“Έπ’Ž

The water compressed violently before exploding outward. Massive blue symbols appeared across the surrounding void while the ocean transformed into countless rotating water rings sharp enough to sever space itself.

"Law Skill…"

Her eyes turned icy cold.

"Abyssal Tidal Judgment."

The surrounding void instantly became filled with overwhelming pressure. Two completely different Law Skills descended toward Michael simultaneously.

Law Skills.

These were the true trademark abilities of seasoned law wielders. If ordinary abilities were like weapons, then Law Skills were the crystallization of a supernatural's understanding of their law. They were centralized manifestations born directly from one's Law itself. Some civilizations referred to them as Divine Abilities, as they far surpassed ordinary supernatural techniques in both scale and power.

Of course, that did not mean ordinary attacks from a Rank 4 being were weak by comparison.

Even a casual strike from a Legendary being was already terrifying enough to kill most Rank 3 supernaturals instantly. The reasons were numerous. The purity of mana, the density of energy, the strengthening effect granted by one's Law, the transformation of their bodies after advancing into the next rank. At that level, even ordinary attacks already carried traces of one's Law unconsciously.

A slash from a Rank 4 swordsman was no longer merely a slash. A flame from a Rank 4 fire supernatural was no longer merely fire. Everything they did had already begun affecting reality itself.

Still, Law Skills were different. They represented focused expressions of one's path. The stronger and more experienced a supernatural became, the more terrifying their Law Skills naturally became as well.

And this was something Michael severely lacked.

His growth speed had simply been too absurd. Compared to other Rank 3 supernaturals who had spent decades or even centuries polishing their Laws and developing signature abilities, Michael's foundation was honestly shallow. Even if his combat strength was monstrous, his experience was not.

Because of this, many of Michael's attacks until now had honestly been quite crude. Overwhelming strength. Overwhelming mana. Overwhelming numbers of undead and copied skills. Most of the time, he simply crushed enemies head-on with sheer advantage. Michael often fought more like a brute than a refined high-level supernatural.

It worked, so that mattered. But the stronger he became, the clearer this weakness became as well. It was the same for many of his undead.

A true powerhouse could not rely on raw force forever.

Fortunately, after all this time, Michael himself had grown in many other ways beyond just raw stats.

Seeing the two Law attacks bearing down on him, Michael immediately used his law to copy the traits of the Rank 4 Demonic Supernatural. A ripple spread across his body.

Dark water suddenly erupted around Michael. The moment it appeared, the surrounding void distorted as though unable to bear its weight.

"Law Skill…"

Michael's voice echoed through the void.

The dark water rapidly condensed around him before forming a massive shield several dozen meters wide. Its surface resembled a perfectly still ocean at midnight.

An ocean could withstand countless storms because it accepted everything. Mountains collapsed into it. Rivers flowed into it. Rain fell endlessly upon it. Yet the ocean remained.

Michael's eyes shone faintly.

"Eternal Abyss Barrier."

Michael had spent months thinking about how his Law could be used beyond simply copying traits. If he copied enough of a subject's law and studied it extensively with the source as reference, could he create a Law Skill?

Today was his first real attempt.

KRAAAAAABOOOOOOM!!!

The Netherflame Serpent Realm crashed into the shield first. Thousands of flaming serpents slammed into the dark water surface simultaneously. The Abyssal Tidal Judgment arrived an instant later. Countless water rings capable of severing space itself descended at the same moment.

The void exploded.

For a brief moment, even the darkness of the second layer vanished beneath the collision.

The barrier trembled violently. Cracks spread across its surface. Yet the attacks that should have destroyed it immediately were instead being swallowed layer after layer, absorbed into the depths of the dark water like stones dropped into a bottomless sea.

Michael's eyes widened slightly. Then a grin slowly appeared on his face.

"It worked."

For the first time since becoming this strong, Michael felt as though he had finally stepped onto the path of a true Law wielder rather than a powerful brute relying solely on overwhelming advantages. As for whether he could create Law Skills from his own Law entirely, that was left for the future him to solve. The current Michael now only wanted to use the Black Serpent Empire as a whetstone to grow stronger.

"Let's continue!"

As the battle between Michael and the two Legendary beings grew more intense, the other battles happening throughout the void were no weaker.

Among them, the second most violent clash was the one between the Black Serpent Emperor and the Rank 4 Demonic Undead.

KRAAAAABOOOOOOM!!!

Purple flames and black water collided once more. The resulting explosion instantly shattered several kilometers of void around them.

The Emperor's expression remained calm, but his eyes had long since turned cold and inhuman. At some point, he had already revealed his true bloodline form, causing his power to surge even further.

A gigantic black serpent over two hundred meters long coiled through the void. Its scales resembled black obsidian while purple flames burned between the gaps, and runes continuously appeared and disappeared across its body. Each movement caused space itself to tremble.

This was the true bloodline that had allowed the Black Serpent Empire to dominate the region for centuries.

The Imperial Black Serpent.
