The Saint Ancestor made a pained expression, eliciting a chuckle from the two.

Thus, the three of them once again engaged in a process that improved their cultivation technique using the void as a canvas and their own Great Dao in confrontation.

After an indeterminate amount of time, the three gazed into the void ahead, which transformed and shifted like water and moonlight.

Unlike the Saint Ancestor’s cultivation technique, the Sea Ancestor’s technique leaned towards the ultimate Yin and ultimate softness, following the same Great Dao.

This happened to share similarities with a part of Ning Qi’s Yin Yang Dao Map, so Ning Qi naturally expended considerable effort helping the Sea Ancestor refine it.

The entire cultivation technique was merely etched upon the void, yet it seemed like a vast web of ultimate Yin and softness spread over them, making one both immersed and unable to escape.

Aside from distinctly perceiving the ultimate Yin and softness, the three also sensed other Great Dao within it.

Water’s goodness, mother of all things, softness prevails over hardness, and so on...

The Saint Ancestor remarked, "Why do I feel this technique is stronger than mine?"

The Sea Ancestor chuckled, "That’s an illusion; though our paths differ, we have exerted all efforts to refine the cultivation technique."

Perhaps sensing this was comforting to the Saint Ancestor, the Sea Ancestor added:

"After all, this technique corresponds with the Realm Venerable’s Yin Yang Dao Map, and it has the Taiyin Flying Immortal Scripture as a foundation. Your Divine Text of the Three Saints has few immortals to compare it with, but if we continue refining it, I believe it can reach a certain level sooner or later."

Upon hearing this, the Saint Ancestor seemed somewhat relieved.

"Are you planning to rename this cultivation technique?" the Saint Ancestor curiously asked.

The Sea Ancestor squinted and swept his gaze across the faces of the two.

"Naturally, let’s call it the Water Moon Immortal Inquiry Scripture."

The three shared another laugh.

The Saint Ancestor then declared, "Now that the technique is refined, I’ll go try the new cultivation technique."

The Sea Ancestor nodded, sharing the same intent in his eyes.

After refining two Immortal Dao Techniques, the two finally felt their inspiration was depleting.

It wasn’t that the Enlightenment Realm Tree couldn’t provide them with more inspiration, but humans have limits, and excess can lead to reversal; too much inspiration is not beneficial either.

The two immediately clasped hands to Ning Qi and slightly bowed, "Realm Venerable, we are grateful once more for your benevolence!"

Ning Qi gently waved off their gestures.

"We are friends, and this is a joint exploration of the Immortal Dao; why should we be so formal?"

Compared to their achievements, Ning Qi felt his own gains were greater.

He already had a clear idea for further developing the Realm Lord cultivation system.

"Since the Realm Venerable says so, we won’t stand on ceremony."

The two, full of joy, returned to the Enlightenment Plaza and found a spot to sit down cross-legged, each immersing themselves in their newly refined cultivation techniques.

"Remember to test the Immortal Door level later; I’m curious to see if the refined techniques will cause changes in the Immortal Door."

Ning Qi’s voice resounded within their minds.

"Rest assured, we are also interested in this."

Ning Qi stood in the plaza, suddenly raising his hand to gaze at the sky above.

The branches of the Enlightenment Realm Tree were completing their mission and about to vanish from this place.

However, Ning Qi’s sharp eyes finally noticed something different on the tree.

"Oh, is this...?"

He suddenly beckoned, and the branches of the tree gracefully descended in front of him.

The foliage rustled, as if joyously cheering.

Ning Qi brushed the branches with his hand, finally resting on two smaller branches.

These small branches bore only a few leaves.

Ning Qi lowered his head to observe the two slender branches; their leaves distinctly differed from the other foliage on the tree.

On the leaves of one small branch, divine texts flowed, while on the other, the leaf shimmered like water and the moon...

The most outstanding was the last leaf at the tip of these branches, as if it had fully transformed into a leaf of the Great Dao!

"Why would the Realm Tree undergo such a transformation?"

Ning Qi gazed at the transforming leaves, deep in thought.

"The Realm Tree aids in enlightenment; this is what I’ve noticed before, but I never expected humans to influence the Realm Tree as well..."

"It seems it only reacts to cultivation techniques involving the Immortal Realm, those concerning the Great Dao?"

Ning Qi wasn’t entirely sure of this.

But as he stroked the altered foliage, Ning Qi vaguely felt as though the leaves were nurturing something.

"This should be a good thing. For now, it doesn’t seem to affect me negatively, so I should focus on refining my Realm Lord cultivation system."

Ning Qi released the branches, which vanished into the void instantly.

He left a clone here while his true self returned to the Inner World.

The Saint Ancestor and Sea Ancestor would need time to adapt to their refined Immortal Dao Techniques, and Ning Qi felt that, with his current gains, he could further deduce the development of the Realm Lord cultivation system.

Ning Qi closed his eyes, seated in the void, neither joyful nor sorrowful.

"The Rule Realm corresponds to the Integration and Harmonization realms in ordinary cultivation."

"In the Rule Realm, one initially touches the Rule Origin. Creating a single Rule Origin indicates entry into the Rule Realm, equating to being unbeatable in the Integration Realm. Accommodating a hundred Rules forms a Rule Circuit, marking Great Success in the Rule Realm, unbeatable in the Harmonization Realm, and accommodating more allows one to challenge Near Immortals."

Ning Qi’s eyes shone brightly, recalling his battle with the Mountain Ancestor.

"However, the Rule Realm of the Realm Lord cannot defeat immortals, for immortals have already transcended the world’s constraints, transforming their Rules into the most perfect immortal power."

Ning Qi pondered all the information he gained previously and the refinements of the two Immortal Dao Techniques.

"The third realm of the Realm Lord cultivation system, let’s call it the Transcendence Realm, or also the Great Dao Realm!"

Ning Qi, through traditional Immortal Dao Techniques and this embryonic Great Dao, vaguely grasped the next steps of his Realm Lord cultivation system.

He sat cross-legged in the void, suddenly going from confusion to having direction.

Through everything experienced earlier, Ning Qi discerned that immortals seemed particularly repelled by Sea of Realms energy.

And towards the more potent infinite evil Qi, they reacted as if encountering someone responsible for their father’s murder.

Ning Qi was puzzled as to why this happened?

However, he carried both powers perfectly fused; he was destined to abandon traditional routes and carve out a different path.

"True Immortal Dao may not be strictly black or white; just as the world isn’t solely light, darkness also exists: choosing one leads to immortality, its opposite leads to becoming a demon..."

"Are the two truly complete opposites? I think not!"

Even the Mountain Ancestor, who sought to sacrifice countless lives across two realms, could become immortal, leading Ning Qi to feel the Mountain Ancestor seemed more like a demon.
