Chapter 2: Chapter 2: The First Hook

The next evening, the setting sun painted the concrete jungle of this second-tier city in a tired orange-red hue.

I sat squeezed in the crowded subway carriage, staring at my phone screen, but my mind had already flown back to the old apartment building. A whole day of monotonous office work felt like drinking plain water. The only thing keeping my blood pumping was the detailed "plan" I had spent half the night refining in my head.

Lin Xinrou’s ripe, voluptuous body and Shen Yufei’s long, dazzling white legs under those tiny hot pants clung to my nerves like magnets. I could still vividly remember the incredibly soft, warm touch of Lin Xinrou’s arms when I caught her last night, and the intoxicating mix of mature feminine scent and shower gel that wafted from her skin.

"Ding-dong — Fifth Intersection Station. Please exit from the left door."

The subway announcement snapped me out of my fantasies. I grabbed my briefcase and pushed through the crowd.

The early summer evening breeze carried a hint of warmth as I walked briskly through two familiar streets and entered the residential compound. Climbing to the fifth floor, the corridor sensor light remained stubbornly off as usual.

I stopped in front of Room 501 and instinctively glanced at the tightly closed door of Room 502. No obvious sounds came from inside.

Taking a deep breath, I unlocked my door, kicked off my shoes, tossed my briefcase onto the sofa, and grabbed a chilled Coke from the fridge. The icy liquid slid down my throat, barely cooling the restless fire burning inside me.

"How can I create a natural opportunity to get closer today..." I paced the living room, sipping the soda and thinking.

Knocking on their door directly would be too abrupt and would definitely raise Shen Yufei’s suspicions. I needed a natural, reasonable excuse — something that made me look helpful.

Just as I was calculating my next move, there was a faint sound outside, followed by two hesitant knocks.

Knock. Knock.

The knocks were light, clearly not from an adult. I raised an eyebrow, and the image of that thin, clever twelve-year-old boy immediately popped into my mind.

Did the fish bite the hook so quickly?

I set the Coke down, composed myself, and walked to the door. Peeking through the peephole confirmed it — Shen Shuai stood outside, staring hungrily at the God of War poster on my door, swallowing repeatedly.

I suppressed the usual annoyance I felt toward noisy kids and replaced it with my best easy-going big-brother smile. Then I opened the door.

"Ah!" Shen Shuai jumped back in fright, nearly falling on his butt.

"Xiao Shuai? What are you doing here?" I pretended to be surprised, smiling warmly. "Why are you standing outside without knocking?"

Shen Shuai rubbed his hands nervously, eyes darting but still glued to the PS5 visible in my living room. "Brother... I was playing in the corridor and heard you come home, so I... came to take a look."

"Oh? Take a look at what?" I leaned against the doorframe, arms crossed. "The poster, or the game console inside?"

Caught red-handed, Shen Shuai’s face turned red. But kids like him were thick-skinned. After a brief hesitation, he flashed a flattering smile and stepped closer. "Brother, you’re too smart. Mom’s cooking and Sis is listening to music in her room, ignoring me. I’m so bored... Can I borrow your PS5 for a bit? Just a little while! I promise I won’t touch anything else!"

I pretended to hesitate. "But I just got back from work and haven’t eaten yet. I was planning to relax by myself..."

Shen Shuai panicked and grabbed the hem of my shirt. "Brother! Just twenty minutes! My classmates were bragging about swinging through New York in Marvel’s Spider-Man. I really want to try it! Please, just let me touch the controller!"

I rubbed his messy hair and laughed. "Alright, alright. I was teasing you. Come in. I’m bored alone anyway."

"Really?! Thank you, Brother! You’re the best!" Shen Shuai jumped excitedly and rushed inside like a whirlwind, heading straight for the TV cabinet.

He stared at the PS5 with trembling hands, eyes full of reverence. "Brother, this is the disc version, right? It looks so much better than the digital one my classmate has!"

"You know your stuff, kid." I handed him a DualSense controller. "Know how to use it?"

"Of course!" He snatched it eagerly and pressed the PS button.

The console booted up with a soft chime. I loaded Marvel’s Spider-Man and sat beside him on the sofa.

As soon as the game started, Shen Shuai was completely hooked by the stunning New York visuals. When he swung between skyscrapers as Spider-Man, his whole body shook with excitement.

"Fuck! The controller vibration feels so real! Brother, feel this!"

"Wow! Look at the reflections on the glass!"

"Brother! Was that flip handsome?!"

He yelled nonstop while mashing buttons.

I occasionally gave tips but mostly observed him quietly, sipping my Coke. This boy was the perfect key to Room 502.

"Xiao Shuai," I asked casually, "you said your mom is cooking and your sister is listening to music. Does your family usually eat around this time?"

"Yeah," Shen Shuai answered without looking away from the screen. "Mom gets off work early, so dinner’s around 6:30. But Sis always takes a long shower first. She’s so troublesome."

"Your sister seems to have quite a temper," I probed. "She looked like she doesn’t like anyone yesterday."

"Pfft, she’s just pretending to be aloof," Shen Shuai curled his lips. "Lots of boys chase her at school but she ignores them all. She has a stinky face at home every day. Mom spoils her too much. If it were me, I’d have beaten her already."

I stored the information away. Tsundere, defensive, inexperienced. Perfect.

"What about your mom? It must be hard for her raising you two alone," I continued sympathetically.

Shen Shuai’s movements slowed a little. "It’s not easy. Dad ran off with another woman and doesn’t send any money. Mom works multiple jobs and stays up late doing manual work. I feel bad for her... but I hate studying. I’ll make it up to her when I earn money later."

I nodded, pretending to be understanding. "Sister Lin is a good woman. Yesterday when she was moving all those boxes, I felt tired just watching. If you need any help in the future, just come to me. Don’t let your mom do heavy work with her bad back."

"Thank you, Brother! You’re such a good person!" Shen Shuai grinned. "It’d be great if you were my brother-in-law. You’d be a hundred times better than my scumbag dad."

I patted his head. "Don’t talk nonsense, kid. Focus on your game."

Time flew by. Nearly an hour passed before there was a knock at the door.

Knock. Knock.

A gentle, apologetic voice called out, "Tianyi, are you home?"

Lin Xinrou!

My heart raced. I quickly stood up, straightened my clothes, and opened the door.

Lin Xinrou stood outside holding a white porcelain plate. The dim corridor light gave her a soft glow.

"Sister Lin, come in!" I greeted her enthusiastically.

"No, no, I won’t intrude," she waved her hand, looking a bit embarrassed. "Is Xiao Shuai here? He disappeared again. Dinner’s ready but he wouldn’t come back. I guessed he must have come to bother you for the game console."

"Yes, he’s playing inside. It’s fine — let him play a bit longer."

"How can I let him bother you after work?" Lin Xinrou frowned and called sternly, "Shen Shuai! Come out right now!"

The boy reluctantly put down the controller and walked over with a pitiful face. "Mom... just five more minutes! I’m almost at the boss!"

"Not even one minute! Dinner time!"

I smiled. "Sister Lin, it’s really no trouble. I usually play alone anyway. Having company is nicer."

Lin Xinrou still looked apologetic. She handed me the plate. "These are some cranberry cookies and egg yolk pastries I baked. Thank you again for helping us move yesterday. Please don’t dislike them."

"Sister Lin, you’re too kind." As I took the plate, our fingers brushed. Her skin was warm and soft. She pulled back slightly, a faint blush appearing on her cheeks.

I invited her in to return the plate later. After some hesitation, she stepped inside with Shen Shuai.

While I went to the kitchen to fetch a container, Lin Xinrou began tidying the messy coffee table out of habit. She bent over...

The thin cotton loungewear clung tightly to her body. Her massive, round ass formed two perfect, mouth-watering arcs. The fabric stretched across her plump buttocks, trembling slightly as she moved. The hem rode up, revealing thick, soft, snow-white thighs that looked incredibly squeezable.

From my angle in the kitchen doorway, her loose neckline hung down, giving me a clear side view of those enormous F-cup breasts hanging heavily, swaying with her movements. The deep cleavage looked bottomless.

Gulp.

I swallowed loudly. My cock instantly hardened to full size, pushing up an obvious, obscene tent in my pants. The evil fire in my belly exploded.

Grab her from behind.

Pull down those thin pants.

Fuck her right on the coffee table until she screams.

My hands gripped the plate so hard my knuckles turned white. Reason and lust battled fiercely.

No... Not yet. I need long-term conquest, not a one-time mistake.

I forced myself to turn away, took several deep breaths, and waited until my erection calmed slightly before walking out.

Lin Xinrou had finished tidying and stood up. She took the empty plate with a gentle smile. "Then we’ll head back first. Eat while it’s warm."

As they left, Shen Shuai turned his head and gave me a deep, meaningful look. His eyes weren’t those of an innocent child anymore — they were cunning, calculating, and carried a strange understanding.

He had seen everything.

The door to Room 502 closed with a click.

I stood there for a full minute, back drenched in cold sweat, before a cold smile slowly spread across my face.

"What a natural little devil..."

This changed everything. The game had just become much more interesting
