Cairn is a prince who is already tired of ruling. Faced with an imminent coronation and an overbearing father, he wants nothing more than to drown his responsibilities in cheap liquor and poor decisions. With the help of his sister, he hatches a plan to escape the clutches of the throne once and for all. It all goes terribly wrong, and Cairn finds his priorities shifting in the face of unimaginable tragedy. The change of heart comes too late, however, and Cairn dies. He reawakens to find himself transported ten years in the past. He immediately begins to plan for the future, only to discover his killer has somehow followed him. To succeed, Cairn must unite the kingdom and discover the motivation of his killer, using as many tries as it takes. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++I exhausted pretty much every time loop story ever written and decided to write my own. You'll see a few similarities here between this story and some existing stories, at least initially. There's a lot of inspiration drawn from both MoL and Re:Zero, though in terms of pathos and darkness, this story leans more towards the latter. Be warned, it is something of a slow burn. The main character will grow and become powerful, but a theme of this story is that power comes slowly and often at great cost.

Year 2099, the world as we know it now advanced in technology. Learning has become easier, and so is transportation. But in this new advanced world there is undoubtedly problems, beings who want to use the new technology to bring chaos and strife to humanity. Xander, a 17 year old normal High school boy buys a new MMORPG game and through it, he improves his skills in all aspects. He lived a normal life until one day when his father, who abandoned him and his mother for a year came back, claiming to be the leader of a group of super humans. This was the day Xander’s life changed. He was told he will get a power to stop the enemy but what will it be? Is he even ready to take on such a responsibility? Nobody knew that this enemy group were in charge of G. CO, the creators of League of Guardians virtual MMORPG game. What they plan to use the game to accomplish was... absurd... but anyway, read to find out. Let’s Follow Xander on his journey as he becomes the strongest Super human and save humanity from doom. ... A few years ago, the rumored delicate and fragile wheelchair bound beauty of the Rong Family was kidnapped by someone.

While everyone panicked and burned their heads looking for her, only one man was able to find her.

Rong Mo carefully asked the tall and gloomy man before her. “Will…..you continue to protect me?”

The man took one glance at her immobile legs and pale tender face and answered. ”No”

“Then why did you rescue me?”

She waited for a long time before she heard him say lightly. “It was along the way.”

A few years ago, Rong Mo thought this man’s blood must be cold. It was only many years later that he really did become the true sense of the word ‘bodyguard’, and she finally ‘‘experienced’ the warmth and hot blood that his body always had.

Afterwards, Rong Mo sat on her wheelchair in the school garden and looked at the man pretending to be a school worker at a far distance. She reached her hand out to him and said. “Hey. Come over here and lift me up. I need to get to class.”

Nie Feizhan: “….”

“Aren’t you my bodyguard?”

‘I’m only a school worker.” Nie Feizhan reminded her. ”I’m just here to do menial labor.”

“Then menial labor school worker, come here and carry me.”

Afterwards-

“Hey, the bodyguard over there, come here and carry me. I want to go to sleep.”

Nie Feizhan took big steps over. “Are you sure you want me to carry you into the bedroom?”

Rong Mo retreated slightly. “Didn’t you dislike carrying me?”

Nie Feizhan paused and bent down to sweep her off her chair. He said through almost gnashed teeth. “I can’t bear to pick you up everyday and put you in my pocket and you still think that’s not enough like?”

The previous Nie Feizhan: I don’t want to tease her.

I don’t have any interest in cute girls.

I don’t want to protect her, not one bit.

I also won’t fall madly in love with her in the future.

The future Nie Feizhan: Only I can carry her from her chair.
