Milo lives in a steel cave within a man-made mountain of steel and concrete. He spends his days repairing the machinery that keeps the habitat livable and tinkering with the prosthetics that help his twisted body move about through the small tunnels and air shafts that are his world. He's as much a piece of discarded machinery as the equipment he keeps running.

Given a chance at being someone different will he become a hero and live in the sunlight? The light beckons, but there are secrets buried in the ground. Ancient mysteries left by races that delved deep and stayed below. Maybe only a tunnel rat could find them?

Kellen Woods grew up never knowing a normal world. By the time he could walk, his mother and father had already sealed several serious gates that threatened the safety of his hometown. Otherwise, shut your mouth and listen to those with more experience. They determined who made it out alive or not.But Kellen was tired now. He had gotten everything out of his system, and the fast paced life on the front lines didn’t suit him anymore. Now, he wanted to go home, buy a house, maybe find a nice man to settle down with, and live a normal life.All the while, the yellow eyes he’d met on the front lines haunted him, no matter how much he tried to forget about them.Especially since the Esper they were attached to refused to let him go.

This is the story of an average normal nobody, who one day got reincarnated in a book that he read in his teens.

At first he felt happy that finally something unexpected happened in his life, but that happiness was short lived as he remembered the plot of the book and the crisis that was coming for the world, and who he was supposed to be - THE FIRST FALLEN - THE GREAT DEVIL.

Just remembering how he was supposed to end up in the novel sent shivers to his spine.

Can a nobody survive in a world where dungeons, towers, monsters, magic, immortals, Gods and demons exist. how can he survive when the whole world is out for his life, and the Gods he prays too are laughing at his stupidity and betting on his death.

Follow his journey as he tries to find new NORMAL ways to survive while ignoring the plot and the protagonist.
