Instead of receiving a normal power, he gains the ability to decay. What’s more, during his ascension, he received a vision from his future self advising him not to trust the Asterons - celestial beings who had saved his race from inescapable doom. Normally... such a revelation wouldn’t faze Alden. However, there was only one major problem with the declaration, though. Celeste was bound with an Asteron. And not just any normal Asteron... She had made a pact with one of the Divine Sovereigns.

It was no different in a Land of Dragons, Mythical beings, Knights, Mages, Demi-humans, and demonic beings. But their greatness came in a different form, a concept known as POWER. Raffaelo Jun was a man born with a silver spoon, yet his sheltered upbringing prevented him from becoming the man he was meant to be. He was unable to achieve the greatness of the prestigious family of the Jun household and became a sight of ridicule. He was used for a while until he wasn’t, then discarded and killed for being a threat to the throne, but Fate had other plans. Reborn as a child, he starts over as the sole son of the Jun household, his actions brimming with intent. He had one goal: attain the power that he once ignored and stand on the precipice of human existence, to protect all that are dear to him. Note: It starts slowly until recent chapters.
