Samuel Foster would be turning 18 in two weeks. He grew up in a fairly normal low case family home with his parents and two younger siblings. The thing out of the ordinary was he knew for as long as he could remember he would be getting married at 18 to a girl he never had met before due to a promise his family had made.

Lena Scarlet, Princess Scarlet was feared by many, respected and loved by everyone near her. Deadly as she was calm, her one annoyance in life was the arranged married he father decided upon before she was born. Being fiercely independent and trained to protect herself, she never felt the need for a relationship or marriage as she fully capable of taking care of all her needs.

However, a promise was a promise and whether either of them liked it or not, their parents were at least going to force them to live together before calling the wedding off.

Please give the book a chance. I’m not the greatest of synopsis writers, as I am sure some of you can tell and the book may be slow at first due to the setup and lead in. But I promise it will getting more interesting as it goes along.

Scene excerpt from the story:

“You didn’t happen to think it was important to tell before now?! The princess was furious with the other woman.

“I..” She paused for a second to swallow,

“I never thought that it would come down to this. I promise though that they wouldn’t do anything terrible.”

“They said the same thing to my father.. but they were wrong. I don’t trust anyone’s word.” The princess replied standing up. The more her anger rose, the darker her eyes got.

“You should just be fortunate that I am not my father. Do you know what he did when faced with a similar situation?” with no reply, she continued

“He killed almost all of them. You could say it was a massacre. Me, I won’t got that far, but if anything happens to him, I will personally kill the person who touches him.”

Losing his parent early on, he had to survive in a world he couldn´t even see… Blind and left alone, he was seen as a parasite by the social hierarchy of the new ages filled with martial arts and soulbonds

“Xiao Chen, please give us another chance!”Xiao Chen stared at them with a loathing gaze. “Ten years ago, you looked down on me. You showed up at my doorstep, forcing me to break off the engagement. My dad was so enraged that he was hospitalized. Now you're actually here to beg me?”It started off as an ordinary decline of a rich family. However, to everyone's surprise, the insignificant Xiao family actually gave birth to a bigwig who was powerful in the politics, military and business world. Just when all the major families could not stand the pressure brought forth by Xiao Chen and were forced to apologize, they discovered that he had disappeared!At the same time, in a small family of a small town-Xiao Chen exclaimed, “Mother-in-law! I am really here to repay your daughter's kindness. There's nothing else between us!”In order to pay back his debt of gratitude, Xiao Chen hid his identity and came to this small town. But his mother-in-law treated him in a totally unexpected way!

After a car accident, Cen Pan lost every loved one aside from her younger brother, who was lying in the ICU. Feeling that she was on the verge of suffocating from the burden of medical fees right after graduation, she was visited by her grandmother in her dream. “Darling, I had a friend who really loves the clothes you design. Would you burn one of them for him? He will pay you handsomely.”

Cen Pan simply found it surreal, but did so anyway so that she could be at ease.

The next night, her grandmother gave her an address and a password in her dream. “Here, this is the password of the safe, and his payment is in there.”

Skeptical, Cen Pan looked for the safe at the address, and found a diamond worth a hundred grand in the safe!

After that, her deceased family members kept appearing in her dreams.

“Darling, it’s going to rain tomorrow—so bring an umbrella.”

“Darling, I met a hacker who had been dead for a hundred years, and he’s asking if you want to inherit his lost art.”

“Darling, do you have a boyfriend? I just made a friend who really wants you to marry his grandson!”

Marry? Cen Pan immediately shook her head, but was stunned when her grandfather showed the grandson’s photo.

Why did he resemble her new boss so much?!
