Carefree Path of Dreams - Chapter 24: Inner Power

A Professional Transmigrator meets a newbie Regressor.

He lived an average, fulfilling life and died of old age. The next moment, he opened his eyes as the Princess of Asmaria.

While looking forward to his new life, he died again.

And so began his 151,897,914th life as Samur Eckart.

Samur is a Professional Transmigrator- or so he says so, as he gets transmigrated into a new world every time he dies.

However, each time, his memories return only moments before his death. If he successfully survives, he gets to live that life, if he dies, well, he just moves on to his next moment of death.

Once again on the verge of death as Samur, he’s saved at the last moment by a young boy.

Surprise, surprise, the young boy is a Regressor.

As a man of honour, Samur intends to repay his debt then leave because the world is too inconvenient to live in.

Well, that’s what he thought, at least, but the Regressor and his friends are kind of… weird, and he can’t seem to get away at all?

However, not everything is as it seems. Samur’s whims have made him the part of an eternal lie.

Shadows dance in glee as they concoct a requiem far grander than anyone can imagine, while the Lights tremble in delight as the apocalypse threatens the Universe.

The dies have been cast, the play has been written, the characters are on the stage, and the sacrifices have been made.

And so, it’s finally time to let this game begin.

Attention: This is not a furry story!____________________________________An unfortunate guy found himself stranded inside a forest with a questionable system that turned his gender upside down. He will have to scavenge and survive in this hostile place, meeting many enemies and few friends. He will have to navigate a Cultivation Society that either hates (Kills) or wants to 'contract' Beasts.Will he find his place in this world or will he become someone's pet? Will his system help him Evolve into Divine Beasts? Or will he change into a Human to explore this world?____________________________________I'm new to this kind of thing, so any advice or criticism would be welcome. (Especially grammar, I can get most words right, but I can't hear where to put ',' or how to separate sentences nicely.) I have searched the web for any image that could properly portray our protagonist while keeping it free. I have found a very nice picture that was close to what I was going for, but it IS AI-generated and I have no idea how copyright works. I do not own that image, I have simply searched for a free picture describing her features and found this... if you are the owner of this picture, please write me a message and I will take it down as soon as possible. (The Image is temporary and I will commission an artist later for a more accurate depiction~)

After someone took my life away from me, I felt something or someone pulling my entire being together with my memories away from me and placing them into somewhere where it was cold and hollow. And when I thought that my life came back to me...

I realized that my new life as one of the dead had already begun...

"Who am I?"

Which path will this soul choose? A path of Perseverance or a path of Ruination?
