The story sets in a mana blessed world, Planet Vermillion, where every being possesses a System.

At the edge of his life, Zero, a man without a System, finally loses everything and embraces his death with a tired yet relieved expression.

His palm went on her nape, and he pulled her face up, forcing her to look at him.

Li Hua pulled her hand back, but Lóng Wei didn’t let it go. Instead, he took out the ring from her finger.

“You are my official wife now. In your life only one man shall exist, and that’s me!” Lóng Wei authorized, clenching his fist which was holding the jade ring.

“The Prince cannot force his decision on me. Even if he takes my body, he can never take my heart,” Li Hua said, with a stern tone.

Lóng Wei clicked his tongue and twisted his lips into a smirk.

“Watch your words, Li Hua. Not only your body will be mine but your heart and soul too. I go crazy for the things that are precious to me. You are my wife, so my craziness for you is beyond description.”

Samuel Foster would be turning 18 in two weeks. He grew up in a fairly normal low case family home with his parents and two younger siblings. The thing out of the ordinary was he knew for as long as he could remember he would be getting married at 18 to a girl he never had met before due to a promise his family had made.

Lena Scarlet, Princess Scarlet was feared by many, respected and loved by everyone near her. Scene excerpt from the story:

“You didn’t happen to think it was important to tell before now?! The princess was furious with the other woman.

“I..” She paused for a second to swallow,

“I never thought that it would come down to this. I promise though that they wouldn’t do anything terrible.”

“They said the same thing to my father.. but they were wrong. I don’t trust anyone’s word.” The princess replied standing up. The more her anger rose, the darker her eyes got.

“You should just be fortunate that I am not my father. Do you know what he did when faced with a similar situation?” with no reply, she continued

“He killed almost all of them. You could say it was a massacre. Me, I won’t got that far, but if anything happens to him, I will personally kill the person who touches him.”

With his engagement at hand, the most terrifying and legendary person of the legal world, Fu Huai’an, returns with a son.

Before the engagement…

He asks, “Since you love Wen Moshen, why are you in my bed?”
She says, “Because I cannot watch idly as Wen Moshen’s woman enters an engagement with you.”

With a cigarette in Fu Huai’an’s mouth, he crosses his legs. Across the light cloud of smoke, he squints his eyes—watching as Lin Nuan’s slim arms wrap around his neck; he feels stirred.

So a person can love another so passionately.

“You call what you did a kiss?”
“…”
“What a pure lady!”

Fu Huai’an spews out a cloud of smoke and snuffs out the cigarette. With a mellow voice, he says, “Let me teach you what kissing is!”

But, what he teaches Lin Nuan doesn’t seem to be only a kiss…
