Henry's eyes widened, and he grinned.“Game on!” he exclaimed, taking off after the mysterious figure.The two speedsters tore through the city streets, their suits leaving trails of distorted air in their wake. As Henry left a trail of gold lightning so did the figure leave one of purple. Henry's Nitro suit glowed with a brilliant white light as he pushed himself to his limits, his feet pounding the pavement in a blur.The mysterious figure was fast, but Henry was determined to catch up. He focused all his energy on the chase, his senses heightened as he navigated the crowded streets.The city became a colorful blur as the two speedsters clashed in a battle of velocity and agility. Henry's heart pounded with excitement, his mind racing with the thrill of the chase.Who was this mysterious figure, and what did they want? Henry was determined to find out.Crap! The smile on his face disappeared in an instant.

I somehow became speechless after my gaze met his glaring eyes.

He stared at me and laughed quietly in a slightly husky voice. In a subdued voice, he then said, “Don’t make a joke like that.”

His hand stealthily and gently brushed off the strand of hair on my cheek.

Kyros Steele was the strongest warrior in the Omega Kingdom. But when the Great War of All began, this kingdom fell. Kyros was captured.

Destined to become a slave through necromancy, Kyros could only curse at his led bitter life.

But on his final moments, he meets an eccentric Old Man who claimed to be the God of Time.

Much like Kyros, this Old Man was fated for suffering and defeat. Because the God of Time could not be killed, the Great Gods conspired to curse him and make him human first. And so the God of Time escaped but was now human. Even if he used his powerful magic to send his consciousness back in time, he would still be defeated, for his soul was no longer a god but a man.

Helpless as his time-traveling rebirth would easily fail, the God of Time offers and asks for Kyros's help. He would send Kyros back along with his own consciousness back in time. This would hide the God of Time from his enemies and give Kyros the chance to fulfill his revenge.

Just when the two were about to time travel, a shocking mystery caused the God of Time to marvel in awe. Kyros was not a human but had the bloodline of the most accursed and dangerous race of all.

Kyros is the legendary Nephilim.

And so begins the Ascension of the Nephilim.

Jadis has no idea how she died. All that for the low price of spicing up the stagnant cyclical nature of a never-ending war between two stubborn gods and their respective followers on said magic-filled world. What disembodied soul could turn down an offer like that?Except, once Jadis takes the deal, she finds that she has been transported to the middle of nowhere and the lazy jerk of a god forgot to check if any of his followers were around to greet Jadis. Now freshly reincarnated as a Nephilim, Jadis is all alone and all but naked in an abandoned dwarven village located firmly in demon infested territory. Not planning on dying again anytime soon, she is forced to take the only non-perverted class option given to her and unexpectedly receives a second body for it.
