In 2007, at the WCG Asian Tournament in Singapore. In just a few hours time, between left and right hands, there goes a life and death battle. In the Chinese team that year, there is a professional player who’s only 15 years old, nicknamed “God’s Left Hand”. At that match, he sits right next to her.

Their professional lives start from 14 years old until they retire, disappear, at 25 years old.

In these non-mainstream tournaments, where a small niche of the population follows closely, their only possessions are a mouse, keyboard, and headphone each. There they won gold medals one after another for China.

Su Yu grew up in a single-parent family with his father. He lived a relatively simple life and was not someone with grand ambitions. He only aspired to join a research academy and get a job as a researcher, staying far away from the dangerous battlefield. His peaceful life was shattered one day when his father, a retired veteran, decided to return to the battlefield.

Worried about his father, Su Yu embarked on a journey to gain enough strength to join his father on the battlefield. What was the fastest way to gain strength? Joining a war academy. Or was that really the case? Su Yu soon learned that the path of a researcher was not as it seemed. Billy was already satisfied enough that he retained his memories, but the surprises didn’t end there. He was born with a weird power that granted him the chance to convert mana into experience points and transmit it to all sorts of things.

Things were looking pretty good until he noticed that he was born in an impoverished and rustic village that was facing their imminent extinction in the hands of creatures that he had never heard of before and other tribes that had all sorts of abilities. Before he could learn how even to crawl, Billy had to find a way to help his tribe. Otherwise, they will be annihilated before he can even become strong enough to stand.

Billy’s journey will be much different than he had imagined. Much farther away from Earth than he had originally thought, Billy will have to adapt to a new environment where his tribe is at the bottom of the food chain. Will he be able to grow up safely and try to change things for the better for his new family and friends?
