Chapter 85: Chapter 85: New Products

Clang! Clang! Clang!

Bang! Bang! Bang!

As the forging process combined with Universal Synthesis went on, the room filled with rhythmic hammering and magical bursts of energy.

Outside, Hyper Mecha Elena and Dr. Clark waited with bated breath.

"Is the Lord making a new gadget again? Why didn’t he call us?" Dr. Clark said impatiently.

"Maybe it is something serious," Elena added. "We should wait just in case."

After two hours, Neo finally came out of the forging room.

In his hands, there were two items: one radiant silver sword etched with complex runes, and an octagonal-shaped cube.

"What are these, Neo?" Elena asked.

"Yes, tell us, lord. I smell something ingenious again," Clark added, his eyes gleaming.

Neo noticed their curiosity and explained. "This is a D-grade Flying Sword capable of operating with just the user’s mind, and this is a Nano-tech Cube, capable of transforming into any form, be it a battle suit, a vehicle, or a C-tier Mecha. Great, aren’t they?"

Dr. Clark practically vibrated with excitement. He adjusted his glasses and leaned in to inspect the glowing runes on the black blade.

"Fascinating! A telekinetic interface bonded directly to the weapon’s matrix? The neural load on a standard human would be massive, but with the right energy core, this could absolutely revolutionize personal combat!" the doctor exclaimed, his hands hovering over the metal without daring to touch it. "

Elena focused her optic sensors on the small, octagonal cube.

[Status Scan: Incomplete. Material composition exceeds current database parameters.]

"My sensors cannot fully penetrate the outer shell. To compress an entire C-tier Mecha or a fully functional vehicle into a pocket-sized cube defies the standard laws of mass displacement. How did you achieve this, Neo?"

"Secret," Neo replied with a mysterious smile, tossing the cube lightly in his palm. "I combined high-density memory alloys with spatial compression runes fueled by the cosmic force. The Aqua Core Flask was just a taste for the civilian market. These two items are going to dominate the mercenary and military sectors."

He handed the black sword to Dr. Clark and gently tossed the Nano-tech Cube to Elena.

"Take these to the engineering bay. I need you both to reverse-engineer the base mechanics. We cannot mass-produce these exact versions, but if you can downgrade the spatial tech into an D-grade prototype, Sovereign Corporation will have a permanent monopoly on portable armor and telekinetic weaponry."

Dr. Clark cradled the sword as if he were holding a fragile treasure.

"Downgrade it? Oh, it pains my scientific heart, but I see the vision, My lord. You want to keep the original things for the empitre. That’s a great idea. Still, a mass-produced D-grade version would be decades ahead of the current tech in Sol-III."

Neo nodded.

"Get to work. We have an entire global market to conquer."

The following afternoon, Neo invited Rose down to a secure, reinforced testing facility beneath the Sovereign Corporation headquarters.

He placed a shiny metallic briefcase on the testing table and popped the latches.

Inside lay a simplified silver blade and a smooth, gray metallic cube.

"These are the D-grade prototypes, Rose," Neo explained, stepping back to give her a clear view.

He focused his mind, and the silver blade levitated smoothly into the air.

Swoosh!

With a single mental command, the sword darted across the room like a bolt of lightning, effortlessly piercing straight through a solid steel training dummy.

Next, Neo picked up the gray cube and tossed it toward a synthetic mannequin.

Mid-air, the cube unfolded with a series of sharp mechanical clicks. It expanded rapidly, wrapping around the dummy to form a complete, lightweight suit of advanced combat armor.

Rose stood completely frozen. Her eyes darted back and forth between the hovering sword and the seamlessly deployed battle suit.

"This is completely unheard of," Rose whispered as she stepped closer to inspect the metallic plating of the armor.

"The spatial compression technology alone is decades ahead of anything currently available. Neo, you were not exaggerating. If we mass-produce these, we will capture the entire military and mercenary sectors overnight."

Hearing her, Neo let out a triumphant smile, but it faded slightly as Rose’s expression suddenly turned very serious.

"There is a major hurdle, however. The Aqua Core Flask is classified as a civilian survival tool. But these are highly advanced, lethal armaments. We cannot just put them on the shelves."

Neo raised an eyebrow, "What is the problem?"

"To legally manufacture and sell weapons and combat tech of this caliber, we cannot rely on standard merchant licenses," Rose clarified.

"We will need a special, top-tier arms dealing permit. And in this city, that kind of absolute authorization can only be granted directly by the Mayor of Chronopolis. But I heard the current mayor is very strict person. Getting authorisation for a new Company will be difficult. "

"The mayor?" Neo echoed calmly. "Where can I find him?"

"In the City Hall, of course. But you need to make an appointment to get in first," Rose explained.

"That will not be necessary. I know a person who might help us," he said in a mysterious tone.

He was obviously referring to Zestia, the estranged daughter of the glorious Aizenberg family. He had heard her relationship with them was sour, but she should still be able to leverage her lineage to make a few high level contacts easily.

Without delay, Neo and Rose headed toward the City Hall in his Aero car.

Upon reaching the perimeter, the vehicle’s communication system buzzed to life, issuing severe automated warnings that strictly forbade any flight directly above the City Hall airspace.

Complying with the broadcast, Neo landed the vehicle on the designated roadside. Getting out of the car, the two of them stood before the massive, heavily fortified main gate.

They did not enter right away. Instead, they stood there under the highly suspicious gazes of the distant security forces.

There were not just one or two sentries. About 100 elite guards were stationed around the perimeter, heavily armed and keeping a very close eye out for any kind of abnormality.

Soon, another Aero car began its descent. It was a shiny golden in color, far more luxurious and ostentatious than Neo’s own vehicle, and it landed smoothly right beside them.

The vehicle’s doors hissed open, and a handsome man with pristine golden hair and a thick, well groomed beard stepped out.
