[BL] Seducing Male Leads To Survive As A Villain In A Novel
Chapter 398: A surprise.
Eden rushed out and picked up a white horse there. He mounted the horse and rushed out, galloping down the market side.
He was surprised that as he moved, the people were happily cheering for him. They were cheering him with endless names like "The Hero" and "Saint" and the likes. Eden wasn’t used to that. He guessed he was used to them tagging him as the monster, the villain, and someone who needed to be killed.
But he liked this better. He smiled as he waved back at them while they threw flowers on his path as he rode past.
Soon, Eden was in the woods, running through the forest while using his powers to track down the path Felix had taken.
It didn’t take too long before he found himself running through the field bathed in sunlight and pretty green grass. There, he caught sight of Felix on a black horse, leaving.
"Hey! Felix! Stop!" He called from a distance as he jumped down from the horse, running toward him.
Felix had heard him and stopped. He turned and stared as Eden ran toward him. He blinked in shock as he slowly got down from his horse.
Eden had approached as Felix asked, "What are you doing here...?"
But Eden didn’t wait for him to finish. He crashed into Felix in a firm hug, his hands wrapped around his waist.
Felix stood there for a while, confused. "Shouldn’t you be in bed...?"
But Eden didn’t reply. Eden broke from the hug as he stared into his face. "Don’t do it ever again. Don’t ever try leaving me again. Okay? Don’t." Tears were rolling down his eyes.
Felix stared at him, feeling uneasy. "I..." He hesitated. "It’s okay that you’re awake and fine. But I can’t stay..." He ran a finger through his cheeks, cleaning off his tears. "You and I know why. I can’t let you get hurt... I can’t let it happen to you. So it’s better we stay apart."
"No, it’s not. It doesn’t apply anymore. The damn restrictions don’t count anymore," he said, tears rolling down his eyes.
Felix stared at him, confused. "Huh? What do you mean by that...?"
Eden hesitated, holding back the tears as he cleared his throat. "Kyle..." He hesitated. "It was all part of Kyle’s sacrifice."
Felix was even more confused as he asked, "What do you mean...?"
"I had used my core essence and honestly should have died... But before Kyle died... he gave me his remaining essence and life... And in the process of that... he broke it."
Tears flooded Eden’s eyes as he explained further. "The core essence he gave me isn’t affected by that. The one that has been shattered. So it broke the limitations." Eden stared at him. "So... don’t ever leave again. Because now... you can love me as much as you want without fearing anymore. Okay?"
Felix stared at him, speechless. He had no words to express himself. He took his time digesting it all as he shook his head. "It’s my fault... I killed him when he helped us."
Eden shook his head, running his hand through his face. "Don’t blame yourself... It was what he wanted. If he didn’t, he wouldn’t have given it to me. So he was still going to give it even if you stabbed him or not... he was already set on dying at that moment... so don’t blame yourself."
Felix nodded as he ran his hands through his cheeks. "So... we’re fine now... huh? We can... we can be together forever... right? I can love you without you getting hurt... right?" Eden could read the excitement in his eyes and tone.
Eden nodded. "Yes. You can."
Felix was so excited that he pulled him close and pressed his lips against his. The two of them stood there in the green grass, taking their sweet time with their kiss.
Felix pulled back and stared into his face with a smile. "Have I ever told you that I love you so much?"
Eden smiled with a nod as Felix smiled. "I guess I’ll keep telling you till I die." He smiled as he pressed his lips against his for another kiss.
They stayed like this for a while, and they didn’t even know when the others had come.
Elvis, Lysander, Leo, and Adrian stood there behind the carriage they had come with, all folding their arms while witnessing the scene.
"That’s sweet," Lysander smiled. "So all is fine now?"
"I and Eden are sweeter together, though," Adrian said with a shrug as they all stared at him.
Leo rolled his eyes. "Delusional."
They kept staring for a while until the two of them noticed them. The four of them waved in their direction.
"What are you guys doing here...?" Eden asked as he approached with Felix beside him.
"Nothing, we just came to witness your reconciliation, I guess," Lysander smiled. 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶
Elvis opened the door to the carriage and gestured for Eden to get in. "We came to take our wife for a little surprise."
Eden stared at the carriage and stared at them. "What is it now?"
Adrian smiled. "If we tell you, how’s it supposed to be a surprise then?" He winked.
"So get in and anticipate," Lysander said with a smile.
Eden nodded with a smile as he got into the carriage. The four of them got in as well, while Elvis controlled the horse, and they all set off to their destination.
---
They had arrived at their destination. The horse had pulled over in a garden-like atmosphere as they all got down. Eden took his time to admire the scenery.
It didn’t look like any place on earth he knew. The scenery looked like a garden in heaven. It was decorated lavishly with different colors of flowers and filled with different colors of petals flying around.
The scent that filled the atmosphere was intoxicating. And as Eden stood there staring at the scenery, he felt like he was in another world.
"So? How is it?" Lysander asked, staring at him. All their eyes were on him.
Eden smiled. "So beautiful. Is this the gift?"
"Partially," Elvis smiled as he came to stand before Eden, taking his hand into his while he stared into his eyes. "Are you ready for it?"
Eden slowly nodded with a smile. He was more than ready for it.
