Apocalypse Online: Regression of SSS-Class Summoner
Chapter 79: Current Status
Max glanced at the Radiant Luminary. The one whose specialization was to eliminate demons.
He radiated constant golden light and his body appeared almost translucent. He used a Light Catalyst weapon.
A catalyst weapon was used to cast magic spells, similar to a spell tome.
What differed was the catalyst drew mana internally to the owner.
Since the Radiant Luminary was made out of light mana, it was not surprising his skills and weapon focused on exterminating a creature made out of opposing elemental mana, such as dark and demonic.
He read his skills.
Holy Flare (Radiant explosion). Purification Beam (Removes corruption). Sunburst (Area radiant attack). Cleansing Light (Removes negative effects). Divine Illumination (Weakens hostile dark creatures).
It must be his Divine Illumination that worked perfectly against that damn demon.
With him, the chances of defeating an early Greater Demon soared. 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖
Max acknowledged the fact that his foundation at C-rank with his summoners had just began. Yet, they already murdered an early Greater Demon.
In other words, once they reached their peak potential at C-rank, they could definitely kill the Greater Demon, who killed Archmage Arlen and Blade Saint Branna.
His eyes flashed with killing intent whenever he remembered the appearance of the Greater Demon.
He noticed how fired up his emotion was and he was startled awake.
He closed his eyes, controlled his breath, and then focused at the Radiant Mage Corps in front of him.
He interviewed them and again, he only received an answer of only recalling their names.
The Radiant Arcanist’s name was Sebastian, the Radiant Barrier Mage’s name was Magnus, and the Radiant Luminary’s name was Solomon.
Max recalled them to his Conclave Network.
He summoned his last corps of Radiant Knight—Radiant Support Corps.
Three of them manifested in front of him, bowing their heads deeply while kneeling with one knee, dropping their weapons to the floor.
Max glanced at the Radiant Cleric.
She wore white-gold robes adorned with radiant insignias. Her armor was minimal, prioritizing mobility and spellcasting.
Max could still vividly recall how a faint halo-like circle often manifested behind her when she was healing the Radiant Warrior Corps during the battle earlier.
She possessed a Sacred Staff and Blessed Catalyst as her weapon.
Her battle style focused on restoring allies, removing harmful effects, and maintaining combat endurance.
Max was so relieved he had an efficient Cleric.
She read her skills.
Heal (Restores a moderate amount of HP to a single target), Greater Heal (Restores a large amount of HP to a single target), Restoration (Gradually restores HP over time), Purification (Removes poisons, curses, and minor debuffs), Life Blessing (Temporarily increases healing received and natural recovery).
She focused more on healing. At this point, my Radiant Warrior Corps will be fearless.
Max then glanced at the Radiant Enchanter.
He wore elegant white-silver robes covered in floating enchantment sigils.
His equipment constantly emitted faint runic light.
He possessed Enchantment Rod and Runic Focus as weapons.
His combat style focused on strengthening allies through magical augmentation while improving overall squad efficiency.
Max read his skills.
Weapon Blessing (Increases weapon damage). Armor Blessing (Increases defensive capability). Mana Infusion (Improves mana regeneration and spell stability). Haste (Increases movement and attack speed). Arcane Enhancement (Temporarily boosts magical power).
How lucky. This Radiant Enchanter multiplied our overall strength greatly.
Max was deeply satisfied by his presence.
Max then glanced at the Radiant Knight he was most pleased.
The Radiant Oracle.
His eyes glowed with shifting golden runes. His robe was decorated with symbols representing foresight and authority. His primary weapon was Oracle Staff and Divination Focus. His combat style focused on providing tactical information, battlefield awareness, and predictive support.
Max didn’t need to read his skills, he was already aware he was definitely an individual he must spent his time on building tactical skills with.
Max proceeded to interview them individually. Unfortunately, even the Radiant Oracle could only remember his name.
The Radiant Cleric’s name was Amelia, the Radiant Enchanter’s name was Theodore, and the Radiant Oracle’s name was Jeremiah.
Max chatted with them for a while, mostly engaging with the Radiant Oracle and recalled them into his Conclave Network.
After interviewing them one by one and slowly began understanding their personality.
What he disliked the most of how polite and respectful they were.
As though they really didn’t possess their own emotions.
They were like...
Artificial Intelligence. Max sighed.
Max shook his head and finally had the time to read his status after he had his unexpected second-class advancement.

After reading his status, his eyes widened. His heart pounded.
He was in disbelief.
Demon Slayer! 113 Free Stat Points!
Normally, after the second-class advancement, the system would reward the player with 50 Free Stat Points maximum, depending on the class they gained.
Even those who were rewarded with hidden class like Rhayne Sterling was only rewarded with 50 Free Stat Points.
Max found it difficult to believe. Furthermore, his Demon Investigator title disappeared and was replaced with Demon Slayer title.
Although it was a shame that he wouldn’t receive a world-class title now after being the first player to gain his second-class advancement, as the system only emphasized on becoming the first in every achievement at early level, he became elated to the Demon Slayer title.
Without hesitation, he hastily focused on Demon Slayer title and read the description and its effects...
