"If you dare to be crafty, just see how she deals with you!"

Just as Pei Zhan was about to leave the garden, he suddenly stopped and swiftly turned back. In a few strides, he reached Cheng Chili, who was about to escape.

"What are you doing?"

Cheng Chili turned to look at him, "I’m telling you, this time your threats won’t work. I definitely won’t help you unless you call me brother! You have to beg me!"

Pei Zhan squinted his eyes, about to speak. After a moment of looking at him, he closed his mouth.

He then released the hand that was holding Cheng Chili by the back of his collar.

He looked Liang Xuan over, "Why are you here? I heard your grandmother and second grandmother came back, aren’t you going home?"

"Oh, don’t mention it!" Liang Xuan waved his hand dismissively, "They came back, but I don’t know what’s gotten into my mother. I just finished bowing to my grandmother and second grandmother, and she sent me here.

"But when I got here, I found out that Aunt Five went to my house again!"

Cheng Chili’s heart thumped, "Did Aunt Five go back to see your grandmother and the others? Do you know what they talked about?"
