A Sorcerer’s Journey
Chapter 1215 - 1216: The Annihilation’s Majesty
A thousand years later.
For the exiles waiting to be slowly digested by the Endless World within the Dimensional Esophagus, time is very swift. Here, time holds no significance; the only purpose is finding a way out.
Green has long been lurking in the laboratory, only emerging briefly when the world collapses. It’s often at this time that Mesocea would provide a series of reports on the situation within Green’s territory.
Since evolutionary potential had reached its peak, Green hardly needed any food, and gradually, the "good temper" of the Oblivion Sorcerer spread throughout the Convergence Grounds of the Piercing Gate. Many exiles unable to tolerate the predators’ authority in other territories gathered in Green’s domain.
But Green was solely focused on his experiments and explorations.
Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!
On this day, while Green was fully engrossed in the Life Key, unraveling the ancestor of humans’ initial evolutionary limitations on biological cell heredity, the peace of the laboratory was shattered by vibrations nearby, causing the blood specimen on the glass container to shake incessantly, making further experiments impossible.
"Who is it!"
With a frosty snort, Green suddenly raised his eyes, filled with a fierce and savage glint!
There’s hardly anything more infuriating to a wizard engrossed in the exploration of knowledge and experiments than being interrupted.
The joy of swimming in the ocean of knowledge, the fulfillment of pursuing the Truth Mystery, the yearning for the pinnacle of rule mastery, yet being abruptly interrupted, ruining the chance of a sudden flash of the Light of Wisdom. Even the most mild-mannered Light Wizard would instantly reveal their brutal nature, let alone someone as innately cruel as Green, the Dark Wizard!
Beneath the Face of Truth, Green snorted coldly, slamming the blood specimen on the laboratory table with a "snap," showing his anger.
"Let’s see who dares to be so audacious, disturbing a wizard’s peace!"
As Green walked step by step out of the laboratory, several kilometers away, a Golden Hammer Dwarf King was battling a creature with a lion’s body and human face. But it’s merely a Level 5 Peak Creature, with tens of thousands of degrees of attack. In Green’s eyes, it was insignificant.
"What’s going on?"
Green’s eerie voice came from behind Mesocea, with thousands of tiny, long snakes hissing above her head. The three-meter-high human body with a snake tail quickly turned around, respectfully saluting Green amidst the interwoven light and darkness.
Filled with mysterious and spine-chilling authority!
"Reporting to the great Oblivion Sorcerer, due to the excessive number of exiles gathered over the years in the territory, the density far exceeds other regions, leading to such incidents."
Mesocea had never seen Green so enraged before and felt a chill in her heart. She recalled a thousand years ago when this Oblivion Sorcerer killed the Turbid Lizard and took its place as the predator king, far from being the "good-tempered" person described by exiles. He merely lacked the habit of consuming copious quantities of blood flesh.
"Too many in number?"
Once, as a predator before the Convergence Grounds of the Piercing Gate, the Turbid Lizard would massacre and devour indiscriminately every few decades to demonstrate deterrence. Green’s thousand years of sloth had unwittingly disrupted the unique Balance Rules of the Convergence Grounds!
Green’s Three-Colored Light Eyes narrowed slightly, a dangerous aura frightening Mesocea gradually enveloped him.
"If that’s the case, then it’s time for a thorough purge of the exiles within the territory!"
The mutual slaughter of creatures in the Dimensional Esophagus is one of Extreme World’s digestion processes. Now, as Green’s anger surged from being disturbed during experiments, bringing up a thorough purge of exiles...
Crackling!
Suddenly, Green’s figure transformed into an arc of electricity, disappearing with an Elemental Teleport.
A grand and mighty power appeared abruptly above the battling Golden Hammer Dwarf King and lion-bodied human-faced monster, but two creatures were forced to pause their movements amidst the twisted, interwoven light and darkness.
In that twisted and interwoven Oblivion Phenomenon, even without having seen Green before, both creatures simultaneously recalled the predator within this territory, the high-frequency rattling pressure recklessly being unleashed.
"Oblivion Sorcerer!"
At this point, the two creatures finally realized they had been battling near the predator for so long. Due to a subconscious belief that this predator poses no threat, they had gradually chosen to forget, trapping themselves.
The Golden Hammer Dwarf King wielded a golden hammer larger than his body, its frame appearing cursed with large areas of decay.
If not for this curse, the towering force of the Golden Hammer Dwarf King while battling the lion-bodied human-faced creature would clearly seize absolute advantage.
On the other side, the lion-bodied human-faced creature was unremarkable, relying only on a strong physique, persistently attacking the agile Golden Hammer Dwarf King like a flea.
With little communication, Green appeared to them as a black hole in the sky, constantly distorting light and darkness. Mysterious and strange, emitting an overwhelming, crushing aura, alongside that sunlight of anger.
Crackling! Crackling!
Two black arcs twisted light and darkness every which way, fleeting in an instant.
Amidst the uneasy high-frequency tumult, the human-faced lion-bodied creature barely reacted and was struck by the Arc of Oblivion. Light and darkness converged as a desperate scream stuck in its throat.
In the next moment, the human-faced lion-bodied creature seemed erased, completely annihilated by the Arc of Oblivion, leaving not even a trace on the ground.
Meanwhile, the Golden Hammer Dwarf King was clearly stronger, his aura no longer suppressing the body’s curse. With incredible explosiveness, he descended to the ground, leaving a footprint more than ten meters deep as his body vanished in a patch.
However, under Green’s truth-focused gaze, it was no more than a mere farce, insignificant!
The Arc of Oblivion turned sharply, effortlessly catching up to the Golden Hammer Dwarf King, annihilating him just like the human-faced lion-bodied creature, utterly erased by the million-degree Arc of Oblivion in an instant, leaving not a trace behind.
"Hm, time to appropriately remind these exiles of a wizard’s awe."
Muttering to himself, Green vanished in the air in a flash. Moments later, the "crackling," "crackling," twisted light and dark Arc of Oblivion descended frequently within the territory, maintaining the Balance Rules of slaughter and evolution in the Convergence Grounds of the Piercing Gate and the Endless World digestion system’s balance orchestrated by the Dimensional Esophagus.
Exiles who had snuck into Green’s domain from other predator territories and acted wantonly or even plotted to challenge the predator throne were fleeing like alarmed birds, yet many were still killed by angry Green.
The ominous reputation of the Oblivion Sorcerer spread quickly throughout the nearby region.
Instantly, Green’s territory felt a sense of desolation, devoid of visitors, clearly scaring multiple exiles with his rage.
Returning to the laboratory, Green felt much calmer, addressing Mesocea in a low voice: "Spread the message. Within ten thousand meters of this laboratory, from now on, no one is allowed to step in. Otherwise, they will be treated as challengers, and I will personally annihilate them. If the territory gathers too many exiles again, request the Nether Spider King to send over a few avatars to assist with the cleanup; I think it won’t refuse."
With that, Green stepped back into the laboratory, leaving Mesocea stiff, standing in place.
Though this Oblivion Sorcerer appeared benign, never having resorted to the consumption of blood flesh, once ruthless, he was a hundredfold more terrifying than other predators!
