A Sorcerer’s Journey
Chapter 1177 - 1178: Temporal Discrepancy
Boom! Boom! Boom!
When Green found Simba again, he saw him locked in combat with a black gorilla and was at a disadvantage, bearing multiple wounds on his body.
After all, Simba had been weakened significantly due to long-term hunger.
The black gorilla fighting against him was merely a powerful creature with a physique quite similar to a gorilla monster, boasting a strong upper body and a relatively shorter lower body. Its dense black fur peeked out from a tight-fitting strange green outfit, and it emitted strange cries of "Ooh ooh ooh ooh" while brandishing a blue-glowing dagger in its right hand. Astonishingly, its tail was a bizarre snake with a mane of red neck fur!
The reason this black gorilla could suppress Simba, aside from its inherent strength, was largely due to its blue-glowing dagger.
A perfect combination of strength and agility, the gorilla’s protruding lips revealed a crimson tongue that darted out between its fangs, licking its black lips, causing drool to flow down.
In this world of Retrogression of Flowing Light and Dimensional Esophagus Illusion, food is the most scarce resource. After all, in the Endless World, passive evolution creatures dominate, requiring a lot of food to support.
Could it be that these two guys...
Crack! Crackle!
Suddenly, above the battlefield, light and shadow intertwined, twisted amidst the thunderous roar. Green appeared with Elemental Teleport, sending millions of needle-like projections from the Ninety-Nine Unity Sword raining down. The black gorilla rolled continuously to evade, but it was impossible to completely dodge the sheer number of needles.
"Roar!"
Amidst a continuous ripple of shockwaves, its exaggerated pectoral muscles burst through its strange light green shirt, as the needles were repelled with ringing "ding-ding-dang-dang" sounds, leaving the gorilla unfazed.
However, the blood of Green’s venom carried on the Ninety-Nine Unity Sword, seemed to have left the strange gorilla unharmed on the surface, but in reality, its body had already been poisoned. Whether it was fatal depended on its own resistance.
"Roar!"
Simultaneously, Simba the Golden Lion let out a mighty display of power, his claws wrapped in pale golden light fiercely striking the gorilla monster’s chest, leaving five deep claw marks accompanied by a large spray of blood. With a "shoo" sound, the black gorilla was sent flying across the Skeleton Land, leaving a thousand-meter trace before crashing with a "boom," scattering bone fragments everywhere.
Crack! Crackle!
The Ninety-Nine Unity Sword was retracted back into his body, while a black arc of electricity shot out, targeting the severely injured black gorilla. However, within the bone fragments, the gorilla used its right hand to block the Arc of Oblivion with the blue-glowing dagger. Its short feet then kicked off from the ground, and its figure disappeared in an instant.
Shoo!
The next moment, with only the hilt of a bare dagger left in hand, the gorilla appeared abruptly next to Green. It instinctively twisted, attempting a killing strike against Green, but due to the dagger’s blade being obliterated by the Arc of Oblivion, it unexpectedly switched to a fist attack. The thick, millstone-like fist seemed as though it could easily crush Green’s fragile body.
"Heh heh!"
With a low, cold laugh, Green, in full unleashing of his unsealed power, let the Annihilation Force flow through the World’s Veil into every limb and bone, achieving double leverage enhancement of his body elements. His left hand also clenched into a fist and struck with the speed of an afterimage.
Hum!
An invisible sound wave rippled outwards between the two.
In disbelief, the black gorilla’s pupils contracted sharply, and it surprisingly retracted its fist, appearing on the opposite side of Green in a flash once again, and threw another punch.
Without even turning his head, the Face of Truth had long discerned the trajectory of this creature. Another hand wielded the extreme abyss magic staff, and with a "boom," ice flowers scattered in all directions. A gravitational distortion wave surged, spreading over the entire gorilla, with dark red blood flowing from its nostrils, eyes, and mouth corners.
Green, in a fully unleashed state without self-sealing, was already a definitive Level 5 Peak Creature, capable of confronting Level Six Creatures head-on in terms of attack strength!
Swoosh...
A brown-red afterimage, representing the attack from the gorilla’s long-tailed mane snake, appeared just as unhurried. The three-colored eyes of Green’s truth mask glanced slightly, and suddenly, a mysterious eerie atmosphere filled the space between them. The snakehead, which had almost reached Green, froze in mid-air and began to petrify from its head onwards.
Click, click.
The strange sound of pulling pins, accompanied by the crisp activation sounds of mechanical devices, echoed loudly in Green’s ears. The three-colored eyes of the truth mask glanced towards the gorilla’s hands, revealing two highly precise mechanical grenade devices. With a roar, they hurled them towards Green while retreating.
Not long sealed into this illusory world, the fellow apparently still possessed such consumables.
Boom! Boom! 𝑓𝑟ℯ𝘦𝓌𝘦𝘣𝑛𝑜𝓋𝑒𝓁.𝑐ℴ𝓂
Hundreds of meters of flame and light waves spread in the air, and faint green explosive fragments spread like rain in mid-air. The gorilla dared not linger and attempted to escape, but as a lion’s roar echoed, Simba pounced on it, and the two beastly monsters resumed their life-and-death struggle.
Amidst the flames, Green flew out slowly. These two mechanical bombs, with a power of only a little over ten thousand degrees, posed no threat to Green now.
After a while, confirming Simba’s absolute dominance, Green gradually relaxed and landed on the ground.
The gorilla’s struggling movements grew weaker and weaker. Once its life force completely vanished, the Lion King finally released its nearly bitten-off neck, its golden fur stained red with its blood. It let out a mighty roar to the sky.
"Did you know each other?"
Green asked curiously.
"A tribe that betrayed and allied with the Evil Dragon World Community, wanted by the Alliance of Thousand Beasts," Simba replied.
Green frowned and said, "Haven’t you been here for seven thousand years?"
"Seven thousand years? That’s only in the Dimensional Esophagus. For the Material World, when we get out, maybe only a few days have passed, or perhaps several eras, time here is meaningless. We are in the digestive system of the Endless World! Hmph, judging by this fellow’s condition, it hasn’t been long since it came here from the Material World; otherwise, it wouldn’t have been a match for me, even in my weakened state."
Saying this, after licking his wounds slightly, the Lion King began to feast voraciously on the strange gorilla, tearing flesh and devouring it ravenously. Seeing this, Green quickly said, "Save some for me."
As he spoke, Green’s little finger, the Enigmatic Curved-Head Bird, transformed into a bat-like black flame, with many heads screaming.
"Can’t you..."
Simba was stunned, but Green, absorbed in disassembling the World Master’s body of the strange gorilla, said lowly, "Diet, in Wizard culture, is an art."
Raising flames, Green used Repulsion to lift a large piece of flesh and roast it in mid-air. Then, with a flash in his hand, an ancient hanging clock appeared. Opening the cover of the clock, inside were large pieces of red crystal from the body of the Trick Crystal Terminator.
"It’s done, the Philosopher’s Stone is ready."
At the base of the clock, a dense layer of Sands of Time had already lost its Force of Chronos. This clock saved Green a lot of Sands of Time, enough to completely transmute the sealed Trick Crystal Terminator into the Philosopher’s Stone!
Crunch!
Chewing on a piece of the Philosopher’s Stone, Green nonchalantly used another Philosopher’s Stone to refine some seasoning, to Simba’s stunned gaze, and sprinkled it over the roast meat.
